***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

So I just remembered! Today is EXACTLY 1 month until my trip!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana::jumping1::dance3::hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper: Exactly 1 month from right now I will be sitting in Newark Airport waiting for my 10:40am flight! Yayyy!!!

Also, REMINDER: this afternoon is Kenny the Pirate's MVMCP webinar at 4pm. I just remembered this, and realized I can't watch it live now because I'm going to see Doctor Strange this afternoon. Oh well, will just watch the recording!

How do you order the meal for bog?[/QUOTE

Go to your MDE account 30 days before your ADR. There will be a "place your order" tag in blue. Click and order--it says you can change your order before your date if needed.

ETA--I answered inside the quote on accident, @nicynot. Oops!

Saw the movie yesterday--enjoy! It was WAY cool!

I have tried the lemon and the chocolate, but at dinner. I am hoping they are as good at lunch (most likely the same exact thing?).
And they WERE good! :thumbsup2
Thanks! I tried them four years ago at soft opening and I don't think that was the final menu when we went! I'm excited to try everything again.

@DisneyBelle27 @JamieOak @Lisa F in happy we're takingDS2 before he turns three! Really taking advantage of that with extras and ADRs since he's free. I don't think we would really do any specialty tours until he is older but we don't go back very often anyway. The savannah thing sounds amazing @DisneyBelle27! That and the twilight tour that @BDFmom is going to be on will be on my list when my son is older (and would be able to appreciate it!)

Hi! Long time, no post. There's no way I'm able to catch up on everything but it looks like all the last minute planning is going well for everyone! As for me, I bought our MVMCP tickets last week and made FP+ for before the party. I attached them to "extra" people on MDE so I can use them for SDFP the other days. Magic bands should be in the mailbox, I just have to actually walk down the street to get them.

Now I'm having a dining/logistics dilemma. On 12/2 I have two BOG lunch reservations and I can't decide which one to keep. First one is at 11:45 and the second is at 1:35. We don't have a breakfast ADR that morning and have a dinner ADR at The Wave at 8. If we keep the early BOG, we'll probably just split something smallish for breakfast since we'll be sleeping in anyway after MVMCP the night before. FP+ are Peter Pan at 10:45, WtP at 3:35 and Mine Train at 4:35. I'm planning on spending most of that day in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland so it's not like we'd be walking back and forth across the park too much, regardless of which BOG lunch we keep.
So, is it an obvious choice which one to keep and I'm just not seeing it? Or does it not matter and I should just pick whichever one I want? And, does anybody on here want to coordinate to pick up the one I drop?

With breakfast and lunch BOG can you order an adult meal for a child like other CS restaurants with the dining plan? We have a PPO breakfast that I'm planning to just order 2 bounty platters to split (2 adults, 1 4yo and 1 2yo). For our lunch I'm not sure if I'd want to do 3 adult meals or 2 adult and 1 child.
Yep

Wondering the same thing about the MB myself, though I believe the signal is plenty strong enough that a decal or nail polish, etc, won't affect it's power to light up the Mickey head!
And if BF doesn't get into planning, order something you would eat for him, just in case. . . ; )
I painted mine with several layers of glitter glow in the dark nail polish and had no issues

For those who have eaten at BOG for lunch. . .
recommendations?
in what rooms do you get to sit?
We have an 11:45 lunch on our MVMCP party day (my possible consolation meal at BOG--better than nothing!) and I can order today! ; )))
We are doing a light lunch between 9:50am CP and 6:15 HDDR. It's at 1:55 so right in the middle. I think I may get a soup for myself and share the turkey sandwich with kiddo (from the adult menu). I was just going to get the soup and get him fries but he wants the turkey sandwich so not sure if the soup in addition will be too much. I guess I could see how hungry I am. He won't eat more than half of that big Turkey sandwich though. Of course cupcakes... Wondering if we should share a master's cupcakes or get a strawberry one too. I'm not much if a cupcake person but strawberry sounds good and you HAVE to try the grey stuff. I hear it is delicious ;)

I want the 1:35 lol. Just kidding, I think I am good with my plans.

I would think the 11:45 would work if you want to take advantage of any MK snacks. If not the timing on the 1:35 will allow for a bigger breakfast if you want one and still be a decent amount of time til dinner to digest. My rule of thumb between big meals is 6 hours so 6.5 or do is still good.

Both fit with your plans so it really just depends on how you feel about meals and snacks.

As tempting as the 1:35 would be for me, my kid is seriously into the ooey gooey toffee cake idea now!

I say sleepy hollow waffles and the 1:45.... At least that's what we're doing!

Anyone know if you can still get Mickey pants sundae at the plaza? I read someone got in spring 2016, but it's not on the menu posted ad WDW dining site. I'm a little obsessed with getting some Mickey pants!!!!

Ok I need to stop fiddling with my adrs. O took back my skippers canteen on 12/7 because I want to have a sit down meal in the park and the new menu looks yummy. They have plain steamed rice, raw veggies and fruit so dd will be okay. The reviews are good. I am dying to try the kungaloosh! Now I nabbed a 520pm but there was also an 840pm and I'm wondering if that would be better given we have a 145pm bog. BUT it seems so latell even though we are staying for Wishes.

We have only been for dinner twice but the first time we were in the West Wing and the second time we were in the Ballroom. I liked them both but a slight edge goes to the Ballroom. We felt like we were in the movie and liked being able to see the snow coming down through the windows in the back. The WW is pretty dark and you hear thunder at certain times which didn't bother us and you see the rose and a picture changes on the wall.
Oooooo thanks for this.... we sat in the West Wing last time and loved it. This time hubby requested to sit in the Ballroom because he thinks it will feel grand. :)

I think we would like to sit in the ballroom for dinner. Hope they honor that request. I feel the west wing might be too dark and scary for the kids. We're eating breakfast too not sure where will will sit. Might let the kids pick a table.

Ok, advice from those of you that have had or will have cars with you at WDW, do you drive or bus to the MK? We're staying at POR and will drive to Epcot and HS, and likely AK too. Torn about what to do with MK.

Our first day we arrive around 11ish and we're going to go straight to park assuming room wasn't ready. We're staying until about 6:30 or so and then Chef mockey for dinner. I don't think really want to pay $20 to park at Contemporary from noon to after our dinner. I had been planning using the bus but am second guessing. I'm wondering if we will want to have our car with us or if the time it takes to get to parking lots makes it a wash anyway? I could always send my DH back to POR a bit early and have him meet us with the car at the contemporary, but that would mean me walking with both kiddos to Chef Mickey which I'm sure is not that hard.

Also, for PPO or AM extra magic hours do you bus as well? Do the buses run frequently that early or if you miss one are you stuck waiting forever? With two kids in car seats uber isn't a good option for us.
