***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

asking for any thoughts on this...
I had a hard time juggling where I should book fp around the park, fitting 3 per day...
would it be kinda silly to spend all morning in fantasyland..take the railroad to adventureland just for our splash mountain fp...then get back on the railroad to watch the fof parade from main street to be able to leave the park around 4?
I'm trying to fit the parade in somewhere, because the floats look so cool! I just have to make sure we can get out in time to beat a lot of crowds so we can make our adr. thanks!

@Candycane83 I saw that post about production shows...what in the world is going on with Rol? I'm really not that hopeful anymore actually :(

I did see a few more blogs/pages claiming that hm was now extended until 12/5... But still waiting for the cancelled fp...:)

Did anybody create a JBJB roll call list yet? a thread where we won't get shut down at every question?
I don't think there is one yet, just the main thread right now and it looks like a pretty friendly thread :) I think we can do a JbJB roll call here. Maybe @Lisa F cab add it to the 3rd post?

Maybe you can give us a rundown of what your plans will look like and we can try to help out :) it's hard trying to fit everything in with our limited time.

Yes, disappointed in that. Hoping for some good news but I'm not very hopeful at the moment.

I saw that post too. I'm starting to think it's quickly becoming a long shot to be up and running before 2017. Trying to stay positive though. Because I've also seen posts about expected soft openings in the next 2 weeks and that time it was briefly showing up on website as a dining package at Flame Tree (even though that seemed to be from last year).

BTW, has anyone looked at wait times in MK?
7DMT-140min.
ETWB-110
Space and Splash-80 each
HM-60
and last but not least,
Jungle Cruise-65 minutes !?!

Ok! I will get it up tonight or tomorrow am :) still trying to get it right on paper! I keep thinking I have the final draft... That was like 20 final drafts ago

Just remember the railroad goes clockwise, from park entrance > Frontierland > Fantasyland > park entrance. So to ride it from Fantasyland over to Frontierland will take a bit. I'm a little soured on the railroad because we had a disastrous first experience last year. I had always heard the railroad was pretty much a walk-on type of ride, so when we arrived at MK on a Saturday evening (Labor Day weekend - it was our very first time in the park!) and I found there was a WAIT for the People Mover, we decided to keep walking and we ended up at the railroad station in Fantasyland. There was quite a line for it, but remembering it was supposedly a walk-on, I figured everyone in line would probably be able to get on. Boy was I wrong! I don't recall how long we ended up standing in that line, but I know we waited through at least 2 trains before we were able to get on. I felt like the biggest failure EVER, but at the same time I was p*ssed that no one ever said the railroad could have a line! So, I'm passing on my experience to you in the hopes that what happened to me will not happen to anyone in my circle of planning friends ever. Be careful when using the railroad to get around! If you see a LONG line, just walk!

UGH!!! I think I'll pass. Thank you for the warning. It'll be great for my parents if they want to take a break, or if we all want to actually count it in our plans as an attraction. But I agree, not for what I was planning. I appreciate it. I know all lines/ waiting/ experiences are different. But with a 3 o clock parade being a time crunch as it is, it's probably not best.

So, I went and looked at the ROL thread and then I went and checked the wdwmagic thread on the same topic. Over there, they're still talking about it opening sometime between now and mid-November. October 24 was mentioned as well as just sometime in the next couple weeks. I'm not giving up yet!

I'm not surprised that the wait times are that long. Not only is Monday the busiest day of the week at MK but it is also sandwiched between two MNSSHPs.

When we went to MK on a Monday night the first week in Dec 2013 it was busy like that.

I'm going to soak in your positivity!

So for anyone that's interested, I was just checking out the SDFP thread and apparently the kiosks at MK near guest services ARE open for use before park opens. Other locations and other parks are reporting mixed results. So anyone with a PPO breakfast might want to try to stop at a kiosk on the way to your ADR to check availabilty. This would be especially helpful if it works in Epcot or HS for tier 1's.

@Iowamomof4 and I noticed that the rides had insane wait times yesterday too!
Speaking of this, ( kind of) is snyone getting a fp for potc? Id like to see it, but I think I have to adjust my fp yet again...which would mean cutting it out
