What time will the tree awakening be during our trip? Do we know yet?

I believe this happens when it is fully dark... so if 5:30 sunset, sometime after that? I think I saw some info a while back and I'll try to look for it I don't think they publish the times though.

Speaking of this, ( kind of) is snyone getting a fp for potc? Id like to see it, but I think I have to adjust my fp yet again...which would mean cutting it out

After much debate and back and forth I've decided not to add a Universal Day to our trip. It would cost close to $800 for the day with tickets, transportation, food and souvenirs. I can book an on-site 4 day vacation for $1800. I'll try to save and make it happen in June.

So I went and booked a second EMM on 12/6. I have a FP+ for 7DMT @9am and a PP @10 that I can drop. They are both for 3 people. Let me know if anyone wants them.

We have a PPO at Crystal Palace and were thinking of heading to Adventureland then Frontierland after that because we stacked our FP up in Fantasyland for early afternoon. I'm thinking (hoping) that when I walk out of Crystal Palace with a bulging belly and a toothpick in my mouth, I will glance over to my right and see a wall of rope-droppers heading to Fantasyland. Leaving Adventureland ripe for the pickens!!!!

When is your ppo at Crystal palace? I found saturday openings to be moved to 8am. Have a feeling more dates are going to follow suit too and the RD crowd will be laughing at me

edit: I am saving potc for SDFP too. I switched my jungle cruise to haunted mansion on 12/6 anticipating a lot of people will want to ride after the refurb

"these were the dates in November that they had a production event planned that we didn't know exactly what it was but we assumed it had something todo with RoL"...

Sorry I don't know how to copy a post officially. I don't know why people assume a " production event" means RoL.., sorry to pass on unconfirmed info ... But!! At least I'm more hopeful again!!

Wednesday the 14th. As of right now it's a 9am opening with EMH 10pm-Midnight. Keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way. I already dropped a Tusker PPO for a different day because they changed AK opening to 8am that day.

Haven't kept up with the thread for a couple of days.... but... I bought my MVMCP tickets today!! I realized that I had to get the hard tickets to use for FP+/SDFP and won't have them at 30-day mark unless I ordered them ASAP (oops).

I got my tickets (cards). . . so what do I do with them as far as SDFP or FP+? They are in my name and my son's name (as I imagine they would have to be?). A little confused as to do the SDFP thing, even though I read up on it (and I am not about to ask on that thread).
I notice under my MDE account I can "reassign ticket", but don't I need the ticket to be in my name for the party? Am I missing something? TIA anyone who can shed light on the subject.

I saw that post too. I'm starting to think it's quickly becoming a long shot to be up and running before 2017. Trying to stay positive though. Because I've also seen posts about expected soft openings in the next 2 weeks and that time it was briefly showing up on website as a dining package at Flame Tree (even though that seemed to be from last year).

UGH!!! I think I'll pass. Thank you for the warning. It'll be great for my parents if they want to take a break, or if we all want to actually count it in our plans as an attraction. But I agree, not for what I was planning. I appreciate it. I know all lines/ waiting/ experiences are different. But with a 3 o clock parade being a time crunch as it is, it's probably not best.

. . . and I believe they stop the train during parades, as a further heads up. Walking is always faster from Fantasyland to Adventureland, in my experience.

We have MVMCP tickets too but chose not to reassign them because that's our rest day so we won't be getting to MK until around 4pm anyway. I don't have much advice to offer other than if you DO reassign them, you will need to have the actual plastic card (ticket) to enter the party. They will no longer be linked to your original Magic Band. Just didn't want you to forget them in the hotel room thinking you would be all good with just your Magic Band to enter party.

Also any FP you make during the party will have to be no later than 6:30pm end time. I have read about people booking a FP with a 5:35-6:35 window only to have them canceled by Disney.
