***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

We're going from Nov 30- Dec 3! :D I plan to go there but no touring plan yet... :P we're staying onsite so have the express pass... I think HP world early or late but no other real plans yet. I know a few other people are going including @pigletgirl @LBlovesM&WDW @Mal6586 @JamieOak Im sure there was some other folks too but I can't remember.

Yep, we are going 11/25-11/27! It'll work out to 2.5 days at Universal with park-to-park tickets and express passes for staying onsite. I haven't even begun to think of touring plans for Universal yet, since it seems a lot less complicated. We are planning to get there for the 1 hr early open for HP attractions each day. We will only stay on the 3rd day as long as we want to, and then transfer over to WDW.

Hi Everyone!

I am a quiet lurker on this thread and post intermittently. Anyways, is anyone in this thread headed to Universal for a day during their vaca? Are you planning on doing both parks? If so, all in one day or more?

Hey there! I'm going to US/IOA for one day during our trip! I'm a HUGE HP fan, and this trip was originally supposed to be just to do US...then it turned into 1 day at US and 7 days at WDW. :rolleyes1

I started looking at park maps and such just this weekend. We are going on 12/7, and are doing the park to park in just that day. DH and I are not big coaster enthusiasts, but we do enjoy the 3D rides, and of course all things HP :)

We're doing the same thing, except have to leave before 2pm to make it to Biergarten at 3pm! LOL, hoping to see xmas decorations on my last day there. I have not looked at anything except to see what DS2 can ride. So far, I can see one fish, two fish only...

Originally I had MVMCP that day and had to get checked in at the BWV and to MK by 4pm. I'm so glad they let me change my party date so that day is more relaxed now. I'm sure as we get closer to the trip I'll want to loosely plan our evening at WDW for that day. We'll want to check out the Epcot resorts for sure and maybe Disney Springs. I think I'm going to rely on just seeing what is available ADR-wise on that day or the day before so I don't have to worry about it pre-trip.

I have the star wars dessert party that day so we're really planning to be out of Universal by 12 or 1 at the latest. hoping the room would be ready so we can rest for a bit before our lunch/ dinner and the dessert party :P i felt it was not too hectic... but i'm not so sure now. I'm still banking on SWaGS being early so we can go to bed right after!

woohoo!!! :) Just wanted to say your daughter is sooo cute!!! :)

Thank you! Your little one is adorable as well!!

She won't know we are going to WDW until that morning. We will arrive at 9:30. Hoping to get her to nap since we have to be at the airport at 4am!! Chef Mickey at 2pm, and then heading on over!! Hoping it will be the best birthday surprise ever (She turns 5 on the 9th!).

Aww, that's so great!!! Good luck with the surprise! I'm sure she'll be so excited! :) Mine has been told but really has no concept of what it means... :P I'm hoping he would love it.

I've read back through the thread quite a bit, but I haven't seen this answered or I missed it! Are you able to make FP reservations on party days from 4 pm till the start of the party if you don't have tickets for the park at the beginning of the day?

She's so cute! My daughter is turning 5 that week too (on the 7th!). It's her birthday trip, but I told her-- couldn't contain myself in keeping the surprise!

I think you could... but someone else could reply to this.. maybe our fearless leader @Lisa F. I haven't looked too much into this because I decided against going to MK too early...

It definitely hasn't been easy, and I'm sure it will get harder as it gets closer!! She's never been on an airplane either, so I'm sure the whole experience will be overwhelming! :)

That is really good to know. I used to love the dinosaur ride in Epcot. Is that still there? It turned into Ellen I think?

Just one note of caution (and maybe someone has already mentioned this, I haven't caught up yet!). There's talk of that ride closing to make room for a new coaster. Don't talk it up with your kids just in case it's closed by the time we get there. If it's still open, no big deal and you can ride it. But if they do close it, you'll save them the disappointment.

Hi Everyone!

We are going to Universal. We had only planned on 1 day, mainly see the Harry Potter stuff. Then I got an email code for buy 1 day multi-park ticket and get 2 extra days free (also multi-park tickets). So we extended our Disney stay by nights at hotel up by Universal.

Then we found out Mannheim Steamroller is playing at Universal on Dec 3 and 4, and you can see them for no additional fee. So we changed our plans even more:

Nov 26: drive down, stay off site 1 night, go to Disney Springs
Nov 27: check in to CBR, Disney Springs and hotel hop
Nov 28: Epcot day, Candlelight Processional, PPO Garden Grill
Nov 29: Universal
Nov 30: HS (these 2 dates are flexible, depending on scheduling of SWGS), maybe EMH MK
Dec 1: MK, Keys to the Kingdom Tour, possible MVMCP
Dec 2: AK
Dec 3: Universal and Mannheim Steamroller
Dec 4: MK, PPO BOG
Dec 5: finish up anything we missed, probably start at Epcot then go to AK

We have Park Hopper tickets, so whenever MK or any park closes early, we'll head on over to Epcot for the rest of the evening.

We have a TS ADR every night except 12/3. QS lunch each day, but that won't use all our free dining credits, so we'll split a breakfast some mornings and use snack credits for other mornings. Then we'll fill in snack credits on the days we have pretty late dinner reservations. Must have a Dole Whip or two!

You should be able to do 3 FP+ for between 4 and 7 pm.... 3:30-4:30, 4:30-5:30 and 5:30-6:30. From my understanding your last one has to end by 6:30 or it will be cancelled. You can make them at 60 days if your staying onsite or 30 days off site.
These selection are not in addition to any other FP+ that day. The MDE only let's you schedule 3 per day.

I've heard you want your last fastpass to end NO LATER than 6:30 pm on a party night. People on the MNSSHP thread have reported Disney cancelling their fastpasses that end later than 6:30. So you'd want your fastpasses to be something like: 3:30-4:30, 4:30-5:30, and 5:30-6:30.

Ha! We posted at the same time. :D Glad our advice is the same. lol
