***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Okay, after looking over my plans and figuring out what we need to change for our meals, it looks like I'm going to be looking for the following for 6:

11/28 - Hollywood & Vine early dinner (preferably before 5:00)
12/1 - 'Ohana dinner as early as possible (doing MVMCP that night)
12/3 - 50's Primetime dinner (early enough to not interfere with SW fireworks)

I'm thinking I should set my TP reservation finders up for the H&V meal and the 'Ohana meal, agree? Also, I have no illusions about being able to score these reservations. I'll be really lucky if they ever come available for me at the times I want. I suppose I'll have more luck though if I release a few reservations I'm hoarding, er, holding.

That makes sense to me, @Iowamomof4 . 'Ohana and H&V are the more difficult ADR's out of the 3 you listed. Also, make sure when you're randomly searching on your own, look for tables for more than 6. For some reason, Disney's res system and the TP resfinder will only look for tables for the exact amount of people you have. For example, I couldn't find anything when I searched for 2 people for 'Ohana. But when I searched for 4 people, there was a table available. Kind of a pain in the behind...you'd think any availability would work, but with their algorithms, I guess not. :confused3

I think it's more likely that I would have to split us into a table of 4 and a table of 2, but thanks for the idea. I might have to do that!

Okay guys so being 50 pages behind I just can't catch up I'll try to skim but does anyone want to give me the readers digest version of what I missed I see we are currently talking hard to snag reservations. :)

Hi Karla! Basically everyday we're lamenting the fact that SW fireworks/dessert party, ROL, and EMM days/availability are not out yet. And we complain about lack of availability for some of the hard to get ADR's. Other than that, we're all just kind of supporting each other in the planning process, and getting excited about our trips!

Is it me or is the system down right now? I've been trying to check for availability but keeps on telling me 'we are unable to check for available tables at this time'

I am a bit worried about motion sickness too on Mission Space. I hear green is less intense?

oh yes. that one DID make me sick. I hate that ride. Kiddo wanted to go on orange (I think that is the more intense) and we did and I had to close my eyes and I still felt a little woozy. Green doesn't have the centrifuge weightless simulation, I think it is just the film so it shouldn't be a problem.

If you're a hurker stay off that stuff!

A veteran reservation trader told me:

Drop just drop the reservation... pick another that forces you to cancel. By doing this it forces the one you are cancelling back into the system immediately. Apparently when you just cancel it may or may not go back into the system immediately.

I fear this is what happened when Talby tries to pass me the BOG for 12/5...
filing that away for future reference

here is a review I found of orange vs. green (not me writing it, just c&p - I think it pretty much accurately describes it). Orange is the kind of sickness where closing your eyes makes it WORSE. They even warn you.

Motion sickness sufferer here. Went on both just Sunday, in fact. Green was fine, no problems. Orange-oy. Made the mistake of briefly closing my eyes at the beginning, and spent the rest of the day quite ill. Actually had to put my head between my legs when we got out of there. If you haven't experienced the "g-force" feeling of taking off before, it's pretty intense. I might've been OK had I kept my eyes open, but not sure. BTW, my 8 yr old son thought it was fine and wanted to ride it again immediately.

I don't think green moves/spins at all, it's just the little film thing.

Welcome Karla! We're very glad to have you. The subjects on this thread change all the time so if you have a question unrelated to ADR's go ahead and ask. :)
