That makes sense and about the same thing I told @Lisa F the problem is if you have dining plans outside of MK and won't get in until 5ish or so... Then you're basically on the losing end of table requested...

We have HDDMR booked for the 4:00 show on our MVMCP/Holiday Wishes dessert day. I'm thinking even if everything goes perfectly we won't be able to get to Tomorrowland Terrace for check-in until 6:30 so that pretty much guarantees a less than desirable table for us. It's the only day we can fit HDDMR in so now I'm left wondering what's more important to us.

We've never been to HDDMR and were really looking forward to it. On the other hand, it will probably be there next time we go.

Holiday Wishes ~might~ be a once in a lifetime thing for us because there's no way of knowing if we'll ever go back during Christmas season. Also the reserved parade viewing was a huge factor for us. We're just not into staking out a decent spot for parade 3 hours ahead of time.

the other option is that you do the reserved viewing, get some desserts and go out into main street to see the fireworks. kind of expensive to give up a part of the package but I'm considering it too.

honestly not even that interested on dessert. just waiting to see of the let people out into the Plaza gardens for viewing. they did that for a while at the regular dessert party before thru split it into two reservations. you could get outside viewing day of and inside guests could go outside too.

that seems like a lot to pack into one evening. I just honestly think that even if you have a "good" seat the whole place is a bad view for the 360 fireworks of the holiday shows. best place for that is on main street and you are surrounded.

I'm still so torn though and waiting to see. since it is sold out and I'd never get it back

My daughter's laptop just died and so now we have that expense before school. That could have been an Africa Trek! I should have never watched the videos.

i just found my rain ponchos from 2014 cleaning out my closet and they are in my backpack now. I have 2 adult and 1 kid, that should mark off enough space.

We are 8:45a on 12/4. Our ORIGINAL plan was to do Dolphins in Depth. We had talked about doing that at Disney for quite a while and were kinda heart-broken to learn that exhibit is undergoing rehab the entire time we're there. Since DD is such an avid animal lover, and this trip is celebratory for her graduation, WAT become a must do. That twilight safari looks amazing!! Seriously, you've got so many GREAT "extras" already!! You all are going to have such an amazing, magical trip with what you've already planned. Your itinerary is fabulous!!

I think I'm starting to lean towards this idea much more now maybe we can sit in front of the bakery so we can get some snacks too by the way, the Christmas parade ends at Main Street right? That would mean whatever time is starts, it would take a good 20 mins to get to Main Street??
