@rasadkowski There's a couple of ways to do this:

In MDE:
1. Parks and Tickets
2. Hollywood Studios
3. Dining
3. Date/Time/Party Size
This will show you all dining options available including F! packages for the entire park.

OR

In MDE:
1. Search "Fantasmic Package"
2. Select Restaurant, date, party size.
This searches just for the F! package, just like any other ADR you'd look for.

There are probably other ways but these are what I use most.

Minnie's Seasonal Dine at H&V is only dinner, which I believe is 3 and after? The Disney Jr. characters are there for breakfast/lunch. You could also book JUST H&V for dinner, not with the F! package included. For example, I have Mama Melrose F! package at 11:10 because I haven't been able to get the H&V Dinner one. So I would be happy to just get H&V dinner with no F! package. Does that make sense? It's a little confusing!! lol

I haven't read the missed 8 pages yet but had a question. I made a post on another board and no one has answered. I thought maybe you awesome guys would know. Is Lilo and Stitch a meet and greet at Typhoon Lagoon? I read it on a certain website (not sure if I can mention the name).

I am booked at a DVC resort and I already have tickets linked to my account. if you don't have tickets linked you can't see anything. I could be making FPs today from my phone if I was there! If there are NO tickets linked (but still a MB linked) to an account you cannot make FP+ on the app, either in advance or same day. The ONLY place you can make SDFP for a profile with no tickets linked to it is at the kiosks in the park you are in. if you were going to buy tickets last minute you will not be able to take advantage of your 60 day window unless you have them purchased and linked. made that mistake on my last trip - scrambled to buy tickets at 60 days and get them linked. Still got 7DMT though!

Hey there Lisa. I wanted to ask you how you are able to look at available fast passes? I tried to view it the other day just for the heck of it. So, I was in MDE, went to fast passes and it shows a lock symbol. We are staying at CR and I have already purchased 5 day park hoppers that all show up on the account. So, will it just open up on my fast pass booking day? Or do you think there is an issue somewhere?

One more thing, I'm interested in doing SDFP. Thought it looked like a headache at first, but now I get it mostly. So, it seems like though I will want them linked to a separate email right? Is it more confusing if they show up on my current MDE? Or would I rather have them on that? Let me know if I'm not making sense. And no hurry on any of this. Thanks!

Great plans!! agree with @Lisa F 12/7 meals seem close. If you could move Sci Fi to 12/3 a little earlier in the day it would be good oh on 12/6, there's a lot of new outdoor kiosk stuff in Disney springs that look good too, if you have not checked it out I wanted to do a lunch to try all the different stuff (poutine, sausage sampler, stuff from Yesake and Aristocrepes, frontera has a take out counter too I think for margaritas )

Great input from you both and I agree. If I had my druthers, on that day it would be Sci-Fi at around 11:30 and H&V F! at 5ish. We'll see what becomes of that!

Thanks for that DS link!! Wowza does that look great! I could easily spend a couple of evenings (or more?) in DS with all the fabulous looking places! That's been almost painfully difficult to make decisions about and, other than TREX, I don't think I'm quite set in stone yet! lol

I was curious about this too! I called the fast pass/MDE folks... It has nothing to do with balance. It's about when your window opens up. I booked a magic your way package, at the poly, with 5 day passes. On MDE it shoes that all of us have 5 linked tickets, but when I click to try fp, it says we have no linked tickets. The cm assured me that they would be linked at the 60 day window when our trip begins and our tickets are valid

So I booked a random 1900 park fare breakfast this morning that I saw open (I think day of MVMCP or day after.) Has anyone been there? I booked it because I've never been and the time worked out. LOL

I did dinner there in February and absolutely loved it, but I haven't been for breakfast. The strawberry soup is to die for, and I think they serve it at breakfast too. Planning on doing breakfast there next May if that trip ends up coming together!

if you're on a package then you won't be able to see FPs until 60 days. even if not paid in full at 60 days you can still book them.

My guess is that if you are on a package your tickets are only valid for the time you are there. I am not on a package, I am DVC and I bought my son an AP (split with his dad for their trip) and a 7 day PH for mine, linked. Because if I wanted to I could go to disney today and use my PH (unlike in a package where it is tied to your room dates) I can see FP today, for 30 days out, because I am not currently in a disney resort. 60 days before my check in I will see them for 60 days out+ length of my stay (including all splits in the stay, unlike booking ADRs)

my kiddo does but I think any linked ticket that is not part of a package gives me 30 day access to FP+. I am the base in the party and I add kiddo. If I try to add the two phantoms with no linked tickets it tells me I can't book FPs. I think it is just whether you are in a package or not because you can't show up and use those tickets - your package isn't paid for so the tickets are not paid for. They are probably also tied to that hotel stay. I just have a 7 day PH and if I wanted to go this week and stay offsite I could still use it.

@rasadkowski i agree this is the most efficient way to look for it. I think the F! Package for Minnie's holiday dine at Hollywood and Vine would be between 3-5pm, which is why I suggested you set the TP finder for 4pm after 5pm would be a regular dinner ADR, which you could book too and maybe just get a FP for fantasmic. Right now the schedule shows it to show at 7pm once every night.

I think maybe 4:30 is the latest for dinner. Disney's "rule" is the package has to start 2.5 hours before the event. So for 5pm CP your ADR has to be 2:30 or earlier, for 6:45 it has to be 4:15 or earlier etc.

*You ARE attending the Star Wars dessert party.
*You are NOT attending the MVMCP Holiday dessert party.
* Peter Pan is one of your kids' very, very favorites.

So all that said, which would you choose?

so..just had an unsuccessful adr transfer!!! it was over pm, and we were very clear about canceling/retrieving. lol. but, it wasn't there for her to grab any ideas why? Do you think IT may hold on to a few canceled reservations? do you think it'll release later on at some random point? So funny, because I only did one other transfer, and the person got it immediately

I tried 2 transfers and didn't get either. Both were for CRT. I tried for an hour after they were dropped. It is disappointing.

Your plans look great! I know we have discussed that we will be there on the same dates but can't remember if I saw your itinerary before. We will be at Epcot on 12/2 as well but are having dinner at Chefs before our 8:15 pm CP. We have had lunch or dinner at CR on past trips and really enjoyed it. On 12/6 we will be at TRex an hour after you. On 12/9 we will be at AK as well and having dinner at Boma. Our plans might change depending on what happens with ROL. We have had breakfast there before and loved it! We did SOA our last trip for the first time and enjoyed it. A few people in our family have food allergies and they were great accommodating. We are doing HDDR on 12/7 this trip for the first time with the early show. I have not been since I was a kid so it will be like seeing it for the first time. We were lucky we somehow were able to book it at 180 days. I hear a lot of people are having issues.

I think I remember reading on a board how sometimes the restaurants are slightly overbooked and that cancellations are used to adjust head count. Could be remembering wrong. I don't know, it's mysterious. Major bummer.

yes - I'm thinking that the restaurant was overbooked and releasing the BOG reservation didn't make it available to the public..... i saw someone else mention the same scenario just this week (I think it was on another message board). Oh well. I went and set up a reservation finder. There is hope ;-)

Thanks for trying to make the transfer/swap!!! I do really want to go to BOG, but if I can't get it I'm happy with the ADRs that I have. We're going to Sanaa for lunch on the 6th so we'll just grab something else in MK that night. I'll keep trying.
