***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

We interrupt the travel/flight portion of your Disney planning experience to take a quick detour into the snacks category! (See how great I blend into the weird couch?! haha)

Something on the boards reminded me...cheeseburger egg rolls!! We're intrigued and plan on trying them. Has anyone tried them before?
It's on my to try list and I think someone posted the disney food blog article on it somewhere on these threads. :)

Amazon has quite a variety of table top Christmas trees in the $20 range - with lights or no lights. It's a more cost effective alternative to Disney Floral. If you don't want to take it home you could pass it along to a family when you leave.

I've been tempted to build a custom basket with for our arrival. I've decided another dessert party would be a better use of my budget. I went and booked the TT Wishes party for 11/30. The current threads all say to line up early I figure I can get inline and let the kids go off to space mountain while I wait. Sadly the crème brulee is not longer offered at the party. I wonder if I could special request it for my daughter.

Off topic.... now I have to go deal with a school scheduling mess up. My daughter was supposed to be in calculus, as she is signed up for AP physics C. They left it out of her schedule. I think she is nuts taking 5 AP classes her senior year.

I sure wish Disney would update the SW schedules!!! I'm anxious to give them my money!

Some people in a FB group I'm in have been getting calls about the Tony's pakage. They have been offered a VIP for the FoF parade at 3pm.... no night alternative.

I feel the same way about the SW schedules, nevermind the dessert party. It feels like Disney is constipated and can't get the info out.

I hope your daughter's schedule is sorted out! What's AP?? (didn't go to school here :P) As for the Dessert Party, it never hurts to ask but if your daughter really wants creme brulee, maybe find a QS or TS (you can book a weird hour just for a snack and drinks) that has it.

I heard about the Tony's package. I guess it kind of makes sense but if I had a reservation, I probably would not keep it for that especially since there's still FP for that? Or am I missing something and they took away FPs??

AP = advanced placement. They are classes that you take a national exam in May for possible college credit. The exam is scored from 1-5, colleges will often accept 4 or 5 for credit or move you into a more advanced section.

We already have an ADR at Chef de France specifically for the crème brulee. I've been told Les Hailles also has one... and Tony's has a pistachio one.

I heard there are no FP for FoF after Oct 1

Ah I see... sounds complicated... :) I guess I'll have to know all this in the future. Kindergarden first :P

Nice! :) That sounds yummy! I hear rave reviews about the Tony's one actually.

Ahh.. Still not a deal breaker I guess. I think that FoF isn't as busy as MSEP...?

Make sure you're clearing your cookies before you search. The airline sites and 3rd party sites save your cookies, which can show a higher price because they know you looked previously.

Been doing that and using different browsers and computers. Read some articles that the tracking might be a myth, but others that say it is possible. Last Tuesday, prices had gone down about $20 but I decided to wait one more week because I wanted my sister to books hers too. Oh well, I will keep checking for another week. Plenty of seats on my optimal flights. And I have multiple (direct) airline choices in Philly, Newark, and even JFK (but drive there is painful).

I'm trying to avoid flying through Newark. It's a nightmare, but with weather, it just scares me! LOL

I have anxiety about the same thing you do though so if that were the case I might deal with boston. but while i have the little kiddo, PVD it is.

Totally get that. If we get stuck somewhere it will SUCK, big time. But it's just the two of us so we can deal. Much more difficult with a child. That's why when we took my little cousin when she was 6, we flew direct on JetBlue both ways. I didn't know how she would handle her first plane ride and didn't want to make it worse with multiple stops. Luckily she loved flying, but it was so much more convenient getting there in 3 hours!

Anyone has any ideas about autographs/ autograph books? I'm thinking of different ideas and wanted to get a small book and get the characters to sign with a picture at the side. We got the Instax printer and it prints kind of like a small Polaroid picture. But I don't know what kind of book I would like... Looked at etsy but couldn't seem to find something I like... ? :)

I spent forever on etsy and found some cute comes and then decided to just get the regular Disney Parks one. I got my daughter the one that is Minnie Mouse on the cover and had room for 25 pictures plus autographs. I really liked that one. They didn't have an equicalent boy one so I got my son a plain Disney parks one. He will be three and I thought why spend more money than I have to- he just will want to get signatures and not care if it is fancier. I figured I can always insert pictures for him and have him get autographs on every other page.

These are the ones:
Daughter's book: https://m.disneystore.com/autograph...raph-book-and-photo-album/mp/1370722/1000357/

Son's book:

@Candycane83 My DD is going to get a white hat and have it autographed. I'm going to bring a couple of picture mats. I don't think DS wants any this year .

@Talby Those look really good. I showed them to my DD (a cheese burger hound) it's now on his must have.

PS hope your daughter is doing well. :)

I'm going to go looking soon to see if I can find the exact thread on this, but I did read somewhere on here about a really neat idea for autographs. It was some sort of children's book with various Disney stories in it. Rather than an actual autograph book (which is also a great option!), they used this Disney children's book and had the characters sign their names on the page where they were in the story. I'll let you know if I can find it again! :-)

Okay, I'm thinking I'm going to need to borrow your DD's autograph idea. I love that! :-) Yay for the ever-growing must have lists! lol Mine seems to grow at least a few times a week! And thanks so much for your PS. :flower3: She sure is. :-):-):-):-):-)

I have a bunch of disney dollars ($100 worth) and now I can't spend them because they have gone away. BUT I have them and my kiddo earns them for his spending money. I found in 2014 that it stemmed a lot of the "I wants" that go along with disney. I want that fan with the spray bottle. I want that spinny thing. I want that balloon (that mom will have to keep track of). I'd always say "do you want it badly enough to spend YOUR money on it?" and it was always "no, not really." I did buy him a hat and a t-shirt out of "my money" but for everything else he had to use his money that he "earned." I have not been so good at paying him this year because a lot of the things I established for chores have stuck and he just does them and I don't need to be so specific about rewarding him. But I will give him a $100 disney gift card as "his" money that he can spend how he wants for this trip too.
Yup this is why we started a Disney Jar for my daughter - so she can save up her money to buy things. I'm not huge on souveniers...as I'm trying to declutter my house but I think a pair of Mickey (more likely Minnie) ears for my daughter. Other than that, we got Memory maker which I think will be great. My daughter will collect autographs, and that will be great. My DH usually picks up a souvenier tshirt or two (if they're a good price) on each trip - he's faithful and wears them so that's good. As for me...I'm not sure. My friend told me about this awesome Alice in Wonderland Teapot that I want to be on the lookout for.

I don't know about cheeseburger egg rolls, but if they're anything like Philly cheese steak eggrolls!! ???? AHHMazing!........i'm hungry.

Les Halles has creme brulee? um yup that's on my list for sure.
