Re autograph books. I read somewhere you get a photo album (small one that has two photos per page) and you leave one slot empty for your photo with the character and the other for a 4x6 card with the autograph. We plan to decorate the card with stickers - sometimes you can find old Disney books at Value Village or the Dollar store so we can cut up the pictures and glue them on, kind of like a craft. Do we know which characters DON'T sign? I heard at H&V they give you one card with signatures (no signing). Not sure if Stitch signs?

All great ideas on the autograph book! @SilSprBea i was going to just get the Disney one for DS but DH said we can get it there as a last resort. @BDFmom i did the picture mats on our last trip! The white hat is a good idea! I saw someone post about a large plain white vinylmation too I think that looked cool. @Mintycake i was thinking of getting a plain black book or bunch of paper to bind and decorate it myself... Would probably look at those places you mentioned. @Talby i think I saw that book you mentioned. I think the problem with it is that it's quite bulky? Not sure if it's the same one though...

Somehow I stopped getting alerts and now I've missed so much. Anyhow, hi again--we're all within 100 days or so!!!

So the snacking...there are too many things to eat/try normally and then add on holiday offerings. Not complaining I'm glad that there will be this year's info before we go, so we don't miss out on anything.

Shopping, yeah that is an activity that M and I do often anywhere we go. We go into every shop while strolling by and plan on a couple visits to DS. We have a Disney tree, so always pick up several ornaments. I used to pin trade and still do at times, but he really likes buying limited edition pins. I really want the Dumbo D&B and hope it's available then, possibly Disney Alex & Ani and/or Disney Pandora and I'm sure a bunch of other things.

As for the planning, M likes spontaneity and I know that's just not possible/probable in Disney (ok maybe I can't handle that). I'm trying to pull back and just do the dining planned out and will do some FP+, but won't be crazy about them.

Hi guys! I have a question...has anyone received a touringplans notification in the past 24 hours? I have received 2...and it isn;t really for a popular restaurant at all. But, when I click on the link, it's all garbled. Usually it goes to the sign in page, and lets me book it. Or, it has the sorry about the paws, or someone at the page if it's already taken. But these past two times they are coming in all garbled, like a mix of the sign in and sorry about the paws, etc. I'm hoping it's just a glitch in the system! But, I was wondering if anyone els has had this recently?

I'm surprised no one is talking about this elsewhere. Both @Candycane83 have been getting sorry for the paws messages when using TP for a while now. A friend of mine did also when she was booking 1900PF but she just logged into the regular MDE and snagged the reservation that way, so the notification was still good but the direct link did not work. It has been going on long enough that I wonder if disney did an update to the system that broke that feature (either intentionally or unintentionally).

yeah I would not waste time following the link. if you get the alert log into MDE as quickly as you can and try to snag it. other people have to do the same so you're at least on equal footing lol.

Wow, this thread moves fast! DD1 started preschool on Monday! She goes 3 days a week and LOVES it! It's been changing our normal routine so my Disney planning time isn't as much as maybe I would like?! It's okay though, my family is worth it!

But, in terms of snacks, I'm completely devastated that they've taken away the jalapeno cheese stuffed pretzel! That thing, along with a grapefruit beer made a delicious treat. Glad I got to enjoy one (or six ) last year.

That's actually very true. Or it could have been someone working 3rd shift maybe? Someone in a completely different time zone. Or someone cancelled because they were alerted to another ADR that they wanted more. It would be interesting to trace some of these ADRs from their original person all the way to who ends up using it. Say BOG at 5:00 on X date. How many times did that change hands and how many states/countries did it pass through over 180+ days as people tweaked their plans.
