i got coral reef at 4:05 on december 1st.
Excited about the 1st, disappointed i couldn't get Via Napoli, Garden Grill or Teppen Edo though : (

from the restaurant board:
I couldn't get either of the restaurants I wanted, so I called, and the CM I spoke with said it appears that about half of the restaurants haven't been loaded into the system yet. So don't give up hope! Keep trying!

I will mention that when I was trying to book Ohana I was told the same thing by one of the CMs I spoke with and it turned out she was right, all of a sudden full availability popped up a few days later. It sounds like of the more seasoned CMs really can tell when it is fully booked or when it is not loaded. So keep trying, don't give up!

Go to the "things to do" and "reserve dining" sections of the website. It's much easier from there, you get to see a range of options instead of one at a time!

Yup, hate using mobile because of that... but it's so hard to browse on the website with a cellphone

I searched in the top right for candlelight and selected the dining package and then from the top I could select the date time and party size and search. It showed regular reservations for the CP restaurants and then all the CP packages were grouped together. Not that anything else was available for the time I was looking!

oh wow I finally figured it out. just limit to epcot. how cool! would have been useful before lol. I wish I could talk my kid into akershus but he is so not interested in the princesses.

LOL, my DH is not too but I figure it's a good mix... Breakfast seems to get better reviews... I made the reservation but this means I have to cut Sanaa... hmm....

Does anyone else picture a lone cast member loading all the reservations into the system and taking a deep breath before hitting the upload button? And then watching them all get snatched up? I know it doesn't really work that way - but it does make me laugh!

I'm glad I switched to the DxDDP now too - I was going to pay for this OOP but it is about the cost of 2 breakfasts for us (cheapest meal). works out with DxDDP.

I saw NPH years and years ago (like maybe 1999 or 2000, around then). I'm not sure why he is THE one to have, lol. But yes he was good! just a lot younger (weren't we all?) I have also seen Gary Sinese and Edward James Olmos, so I feel like I've seen the biggies. Not sure who will be there for 12/5 - we're just missing whoopi. I'm not sure it matters all that much to me to be perfectly honest!

I think there is a lot of CR availability. not sure why. It seems like the super popular ones they did not hold back a lot of inventory (Via Napoli or Akershus, both of which are tough to book regardless)

I am not sure why i am excited to see NPH, maybe just his energy? BUT whoopi would also be GREAT! but i already have those days planned up. The 1st just so happens to be my arrival night, so if the rest of my group will join me (maybe even if they don't) i'll add the extra day (which really isn't more then paying to see a movie... (how i justify these things) and i'll get more entertainment out of it!)
I have the dining plan, but have all the credits used up. Maybe i'll do this out of pocket? who knows, just planning ahead
