***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Woohoo! and we both have the dessert party too right now... still need to make a decision on that one!
I am leaning toward no but I am not going to decide until reviews start rolling in for the halloween party :) while not exactly "once in a lifetime" i feel like my 8 year old is at prime disney age and am willing to go a bit all out for him... if i end up at two dessert parties so be it! I REALLY want to do the star wars one now though!

My plan is the 8th as well. Just waiting to get a little closer before I pay. M has issues with paying things ahead of time, so I would at least like to have the vaca paid before I purchase.

yeah I have DVC so room was paid and tickets were paid but I waited until my plane tickets were purchased before paying for the MVMCP. I waited until my ADRs were secured before paying for DxDDP.

I decided on the date but have not purchased the actual ticket yet either. My whole trip is still actually in limbo... waiting for something else before I can actually start paying for anything non refundable.

Wow! I haven't been notified of any activity on his thread and wondered about it...decided to check in and see why it's been so quiet. Then I found 5 pages of posts! Wonder why I didn't get notified? In still confused/trying to figure out disboards.

What is RO discounts?

RO = Room Only

Oh okay. I've been waiting for that, too. (Should have figured that one out, lol).

Do we know when those come out? Are these the 30% off discounts?

Maybe sometime in July. Yes, sometimes up to 30% off Deluxe resorts. Last year it was 25% according to MouseSavers website.

don't try to figure it out, it makes no sense lol. Just check back as there are more likely to be posts than not!

Morocco is probably my favorite QS in WDW but that said it is decent middle eastern. If you have real middle eastern places near you and frequent them it will probably be middle of the road. It has been a very long time since i've been there but the hummus is prepackaged (I went to a turkish restaurant once with amazing homemade hummus and that is the pinnacle of hummus now for me lol). The meat is carved off of a spit at least so there is that... but you guys are veg so I'd guess you'd do the falafel, which I have no experience with.

Anyway remind me where you are going.
my restos are (we are NOT on the dining plan):
arrival day: we get in later so likely just pizza from boardwalk

H&V PPO breakfast
Mama Melrose (F! package) lunch (will likely cancel)
50s Prime time diner dinner (4:15pm) - a must do on our list
SW dessert party

BoG PPO breakfast
QS lunch in MK?
Kona Cafe dinner (date night)

Cape May breakfast
QS lunch in Epcot
Tepan Edo dinner (may cancel and just go with a QS)

QS or breakfast in room
Akershus lunch
Date night - I have reservations holding at Tepan Edo, Beaches and Cream, and Il Mulino, which I'll likely cancel all of

QS or breakfast in room
BOG Lunch (may cancel, depends if DD wants to go back to the castle. Though I'm curious about the lunch menu)
Skippers Canteen dinner (may cancel depending if menu changes. Currently my daughter won't eat anything on the menu).

'Ohana Breakfast
QS lunch in MK
1900 Park Fare dinner

Departure day: QS or breakfast in room

We're planning a small grocery delivery of milk, bottled water, fresh fruits and veg and maybe muffins and yogurt to cover off the breakfasts we aren't booked at and to make sure we have snacks at the park that DD will eat.

Great plans! You seem to have your ADRs well spaced and I'm sure you would be maximizing park time. As for BOG lunch, I seem to like the menu more than the breakfast. (I feel that the breakfast is so pricey! and basically just there for people who would like a head start on 7DMT...)
I have read (somewhere on the dining boards) that they have a new kid's menu for Skippers, not sure if you have seen it.

Has anyone been able to book a reservation for Hoop De Do Revue. I have checked the first week of December for my trip and the third week December for a cousin's trip. I was out of luck booking for any day any show both weeks.

I got one for Dec. 7th, but it was for only 2 people. It is DH and I date night.

@Lisa F got it for her trip...
wow i just checked and there is no availability any time on the night I have it booked, Dec 9th. That has GOT to be a glitch. the 6:15 show was unavailable for most of september, october and november and others have reported problems here and there in december. People have asked CMs about it but no one knows what the deal is. I would guess that Disney would figure it out once they realize shows are not filled at all.. I hope it doesn't take until they start playing to empty rooms :P I booked it right at 180 days and I can't believe the whole thing is sold out.

you are planning a lot of character meals, lol (so am I) many of which I'm not familiar with. We really liked ohana breakfast when we went - it was hot and fresh and good but nothing spectacularly interesting. Prime time is good comfort food. I found Kona's sushi a disappointment after CA Grill's but their food is very good and others really like their sushi so maybe it was an off night (we also had a grumpy waiter). Nothing you're trying is super gourmet so basically right temperature, fresh and tasty is probably going to be the goal ;) I find disney food to be pretty good though in general, but i think every restaurant has off days and of course when they do, you hear about it.
