***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I'm trying to come to terms with some alternative plans but it's not going so well. In my dream plan, we were going to hit EMM on our first Tuesday so that we would have plenty of time to do more of them if we enjoyed the first one. It was also going to give dd8 the chance to try 7dmt early in our trip to see if she liked it so she would have more time to enjoy it throughout the rest of the vacation. All of that is gone now if EMM doesn't miraculously show up again for 11/29. Now, our first opportunity to do it is just 3 days before the trip is over. I guess I shouldn't be so sad over NOT getting to spend extra money. lol

Unfortunately, we have $413 left in our dva that we need to do something with. If I have it refunded, it'll go back to several of the 70 gift cards I used to fund the dva in the first place. Umm... no thanks. If I have them convert it to a gift card and send it to me, it'll take 4-6 weeks. We leave 6 weeks from Saturday so I'm not comfortable with that option. That means spending it is really our best choice. I don't want to spend it on EMM for 12/4 (Sunday) or 12/6 (Tuesday - our last park day) because EMM is refundable and I have much less confidence about our ability to get up early at the end of our trip than at the beginning of our trip (another reason we wanted the one on 11/29). So I'm leaning toward purchasing tickets to a second MVMCP instead. We'll look to book the EMM on a credit card so the refund process is easier if we need to take advantage of that. Part of me thinks we should wait to buy anything else though until we find out more information on whatever is happening (or not happening) with SW fireworks and ROL.

I saw earlier this week about your bummer news for 11/29 I would spend money on a second MVMCP; or maybe do something like a pirates and pals cruise or the illuminations dessert party.

Girl...I totally have considered showing up at 3:45 and hoping there's a wait! And yes; I've noticed your counter seems possessed. I feel like it was stuck on 91 days for like 3 weeks and kept forgetting to ask you about it!

lol it is going to pop back up to 91 days one of these days. not sure what is up with it but i like the nametag

ours is for 4:30 which is the "disney rule" of 2.5 hours before the show (that they have for RoL on the now missing page and for CP packages). I'm not sure you can get a 5pm with F! package? but 4:30 might be doable.

Thanks @rasadkowski! I've been looking for better times on this chef Mickey since august 22 when I started with an 8:30 dinner. I am so thankful I can stop looking for it. The food at BOG and Chef Mickey will taste so good- lots of hours of clicking devoted to them! Were you looking for your crystal palace breakfast for a long time?

Anyone still need ADRs? I've been searching for stuff on our spreadsheet and snagged a couple but they were no longer needed. Happy to focus on others now that I'm all set

Isn't it so bad that I hardly have any recollection of something that drove me nuts over the summer ?! I hoped for a ppo crystal palace for our first day at MK. ( pooh is my daughters favorite thing in the world ) For the first few weeks after 180 I would get alerts, and I was always too late! ( which you know just kills you inside because it was so close ) I was always at the ready too!!

But I couldn't get one, so I said the next best thing on our first day would be if EMM would be announced. So I stalked that until it finally was released. .... I eventually got a crystal palace ppo for our next MK day, and I can't even remember how or when?!

I know it's completely sold out now but if I were you I might also search for a smaller party and see if you can add more people later. I have read somewhere on the dis boards that they WILL allow you to add to your party to these events even if sold out... not sure where I read that or even 100% sure that I did, but it is worth a try maybe?

Oh, I've been checking! Everything from 1-14 people, just in case one number shows up when the others don't. Thanks for the tip though! I'll definitely grab anything that pops up and try to add more later. Then again, I have to ask myself: do I really want to go to THIS EMM if it's sold out? No one has reported from a "sold out" EMM since early on when they talked about increasing the # of tickets sold. Sooo... I think we still want to go to this one, but at the same time maybe I should just accept that it might not be the same as all the others that have had such great reviews. At least, that's the logic I'll use to console myself if I have to choose a different date.

I know you wanted to do it early on in your trip so that your kids could see if they like 7DMT and ride it later but maybe it is a blessing in disguise. It is a lot of money. what if they are meh on it? This way they can try it out beforehand and if they are all "mom this is the greatest thing EVER" then they get to do it over and over and over and over again.

I'm planning on printing The color tags and laminating one for my backpack and one for my stroller. I'm using it!! Hope you are so we can spot each other.

Yes sorry!! We have EMM that morning, so I think a few of us were going to RD them after EMM. But I'm thinking of using my under the sea fp on Elena instead..im not sure how popular under the sea is... Maybe I could get that without fp .?

I dropped under the sea and got Elena. i think the predicted wait for under the sea in the morning was about 16 min?
I imagine standby for elena will be much longer than standby for under the sea.
