***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I realize probably everyone on this thread has already booked fastpasses, but it helped me to have people that had booked before me checking availability for a certain ride...I was able to change my plans the night before in order to work around what the current avaiablility was showing. Since I have a larger party (9), and have booked already...just wanted to throw out there that if anyone wants me to check fp availability for a certain date Dec 3 - 10, I'm happy to! I know some of you can do that as well, but if you only have a party of 2, it wouldn't necessarily tell you if a party of 5 would be able to get fp for a certain time, right? Just if there were 2 available. Anyway....just wanted to throw that out there...let me know what you want me to check and I'm happy to! My larger party size might come in handy to help someone else plan ahead!

not sure if anyone is looking into Biergarten but their hours changed... it now opens at 11am. Am I dreaming or was it always 12nn before? I wonder if this affects the show times...

Oh and regarding the annual pass upgrade info I asked about on the ROL board, yes, it will be $150 extra, which is a no-brainer. I sort of calculated the dining discounts on the ADRs we have and the pass will cost like $10-20 more. That of course doesn't include any shopping (I shop)--so yeah it makes so much sense to go this route.

I was thinking we'd like a Boma dinner buffet better, though we both love breakfast buffets. But that is more complicated for our schedule. We often do a breakfast or lunch buffet once each weekend. Wake up at 8am, do the farm chores because the animals get fed before we feed ourselves, and then come back into the house starving. And we love the variety like you.

All the dining I have planned for my last day is an Ohana 4:05pm. I had a Trail's End late brunch until I found the Ohana and now my breakfast is unknown currently. Trial's End is going to be too hard to get too before heading to MK in the morning, which is why I was doing a brunch for after MK touring. Plus I'm not sure I want to wake up early enough to eat a breakfast out and then get to MK for 9am park opening. So I think we're down to just grabbing something at a QS in MK after an hour or 2 of park touring.

I won't lie, boma is one of my all time favorites. I was going to do it first night but I got a room at kidani and not Jambo and started to think about trying out Sanaa and the bread service. Then I had it on my rest day before MVMCP but was talked into (lol) going to WCC instead to see WL (which I do want to do). I think... I just like it much more than kona. I went to kona once, had the tonga toast, was unimpressed. I have been there a couple of times for dinner recently (and times less recently) and unimpressed. But have always loved boma.

I don't think your FP+ window is limited the number of the days on the tickets but your length of stay? does anyone know?

you may need to be flexible on your FEA time and you may not be able to get 7DMT before the party exactly but check all 3 times and maybe dial it back a bit to 3:15-4:15 as a possibility. the rest should be easy peasy and my comments are a possible worst case scenario, not necessarily "likely"

In my experience, you can only book as many days as you have tickets for. We usually have a 9-10 night stay and 6-8 days of tickets and I've only able to book for the number of tickets I had

I think you've pretty much convinced everyone Boma is great You should go for it! and it's a chance to enjoy AKL one last time. I think it's a great last stop, looks so pretty in pictures! I'm kind of sad I'm not able to stay there this trip. I hope I do go through with the plan of visiting though. I'm actually thinking if I could shift my plans to visit in the afternoon so we could do the free culinary tour at 3:45pm. hopefully, AK hours get extended more.

Oh yeah, FEA is is pretty flexible. I can work most of that time of day around as long as I can preferably get it comfortably before we go to the 5 o'clock Candlelight Processional. We're not Illuminations fans, so we're doing late morning/afternoon at World Showcase, then hitting Future World in the evening. Or at least that's the plan right now. Could change tomorrow! Haha!

Well, apparently, I didn't think that offer through. Since I'm not in MK on any of those days, I can't see availability for MK attractions. I'm sorry! I have a TP subscription, so I checked the Lines App, which you may already have. This is availability according to TouringPlans for 7DMT for at least 1 person:

12/4: the earliest time is 1:55pm and goes through 7:00pm
12/5: 11:00am - 10:00pm
12/9: 9:00am - 7:00pm

Sorry for the false hope of giving a more accurate picture! Just didn't even think about that. :/

oh, I have more than I need (7 days but one of those days is a MVMCP day) so I didn't even think about it. I have my mvmcp tickets linked to phantoms so I can pick up a couple of extra FP+. Since I will have the extra day I am probably entitled to it too!

Oh man, I forgot all about TP. Checked my wish list against their availability, and pretty much everything is there as of right now at least within 15 minutes of what I had estimated.

You should be able to book 5 days of fastpasses when your window opens. There have been sporadic reports of the system not recognizing party tickets for advanced fastpasses, but most have had no problems.

It's tickets. That's why I couldn't fp for my dh on one day (we can't activate his ta ticket)

That's great to hear! On Allears, Boma has a 9.2 out of 10 for breakfast. Dinner is over an 8/10. I was thinking it was a safe bet.

I was going to plan a meal at WL, but changed it to just visiting the lounge areas instead. There's just not enough meals in my trip to try all the restaurants I want to try! That's a good problem to have though.

WL and AK were my top 2 resort choices originally. Until I heard of the major construction at WLV and we were then planning a split stay between BCV and AKV and I just missed the availability. Literally figured it out based on availability with the promo code at lunchtime, then I went home to ask DH and avaialability was all gone! One of my first, and I'm sure not my last, Rookie mistakes!

I was able to book 7 days of FPs on my FP day with 6 day PHs and 1 MVMCP ticket. I was expecting it not to work after reading those reports, but I had no issues.

I thought maybe I could check your 7DMT dates because I have 3 friends in MDE. But it wouldn't allow me to use them as the friends don't have park tickets. Now I don't remember how (lol!) I got there, but I was able to check availability for 1 on 12/4 for 7DMT, and that starts at 4:40p (sorry--not much help there!).

Thank you so much, @Talby. FEA looks like it will be fine for me tomorrow, especially since I'm shooting for sometime after 4pm!!! Thanks for checking 7DMT too, less concerned about that since my #1 priority is getting DD to enjoy all the frozen stuff on her bday, but based on what @tacboze shared from the lines app (I have the lines app and it didn't even cross my mind to look there!), I think I might be able to get it on the 3 days of 7DMT that i want (not super picky on times for it!).

I appreciate everyone's support. I'm sure I'll be much less stressed after FP selection is done. I love how wonderful you all are
