Sooo...I just made a reservation at Boma..

Sooo...I just made a reservation at Boma..![]()
I wasn't even thinking about Saturday because we're leaving. According to Touring Plans,I'm wondering how true that is... I assumed Saturday would be the busiest day of the week...? I know @Lisa F has been saying it should not be that busy and I believe hershe gives very convincing arguments and very sound reasoning.
SO pumped!! while on my lunch today i was just on the MDE app on my phone, and for the past month have been watching for a PPO on december 6th for BOG, one time i seen it and by time i clicked on it someone else snagged it on me. WELL TODAY, i saw one!! 840 for 4 ppl on the 6th. I know that its the pay for early morning magic morning, but i'll still get a photo or two without to many people wondering around. I still want to see the Jolly Trolly show though!!
So PPO, what is the earliest they will let me in? Usually with dinner reservations i get there about 20mins early
agree, have seen multiple reports of this... speaking of PPO, i picked up a Garden Grill PPO for 12/6 and I'm not sure what to do not... rearrange everything again or let it go...From what I have read, they let everyone in the park at 7:45 who has a PPO. And, they often let people into the restaurant before their reservation time as well (again, from what I've read!)

LOL, I've seen too many dining reviews that it's confusing me...What would you have to rearrange? I just read a really awesome review of GG PPO breakfast, fwiw.

It's my move day. Moving from Swan to CR that day and I was planning to move hotels first thing in the morning and going to MK in the morning and stay until after FoF...I've made MK FPs from 9-12nn already... so I'll have to drop those and make some for the afternoon. Also, I was planning for GG as an early lunch (DH prefers lunch to breakfast) so I'll have to cancel or swap that...![]()
yup!Breakfast?
That's exactly right, @rasadkowski. We're doing her birthday dinner at Akershus and I thought the flow would work nicely for us to do FEA and Ana/Elsa meet around dinner time, allowing us to focus on Soarin (and Future World) after our 8am PPO Garden Grill. The times @Talby posted for FEA FP are making me feel so much better for tomorrow am!
Haha this is what happens when you post things while multi tasking. I am dividing my 3 mk days up by land. Day 1 is emm so Fantasyland and tomorrowland with FoF parade. Day 2 is a late start (145 bog lunch) because late night - non party night. Day 3 is frontier land and liberty square since dd has pirates league at 125pm and we have ohana brunch at 10 30 (this is right after out late MK day). But day 3 is party day so we will leave at 630. So day 2 became our catch all leftover day so I didn't book dh any fastpasses. My fear is that it will be busy and we ate relying on SDFP for him (or a few days ahead). Everything critical we have booked on day 1 and 3 fp wise
Sounds like good logic. I should get rid of it so it doesn't tempt me, hahaha! If anyone needs an 8am for 12/6 for 3 at GG let me knowIn that case, unless you're really wanting breakfast at GG and/or PPO, I'd not bother. I wouldn't want to have a PPO breakfast scheduled on a moving day. That would worry me!
That is going to be one special birthday and a very happy little birthday girl!! It's so exciting!!
That makes total sense! Thanks for clarifying. I really wish we had a crystal ball so we could know how accurate the crowd predictions are!
I wonder if it would be wise to make the FPs on whichever day you're going to spend the most hours of actual park time? That's just what jumped out at me because the number of park hours is the most static factor (crowds/weather aren't as predictable). It looks like on day 3 you'll not have quite as many park hours with Pirates League, 'Ohana and leaving at 6:30? (is that even accurate? lol; I see the late start, but that's the non-party night) Maybe not the determining factor, but something to consider? Seems like there are always at least 50 factors to mull over when weighing any Disney decision! haha
***TO EVERYONE HERE***
May I just add to the warm fuzzies?I don't want to dis the DIS, I'm eternally grateful for all I've learned here. However, I have read threads elsewhere where people are so judgemental, in a pretty rude way. I've been stumbling across it kind of a lot lately! Makes me sad.
I think we're all just trying to do the best we can to plan the best vacation we can for our families. That judgemental/condescending approach to "helping" NEVER happens on this thread and I adore that!
It's all nice and cozy and friendly here, which I think allows everyone to feel very comfortable asking any sort of question. So thanks everyone!

We're doing 1 EMM and 2 MVMCP. The kids had their choice of which to add. They choose the party for the extra rides, snow on main Street, and longer hours. They thought they would be able to accomplish more during the second party in terms of rides. The first party night we'll enjoy the parades and such.I'm trying to decide what I think we'll want to do, just so I can have a hypothetical plan in mind.
My question is:
Are we more likely to want to do 2 MVMCP's or 2 EMM's?
They are such different events! We're doing 1 of each, for sure, but I'm thinking we could do at least one more of one or the other. I'm leaning toward the extra EMM because we don't like crowds and I think the Christmas parties will be super crowded, especially for the parade and fireworks. Otoh, there are so many more rides open for the Christmas party that you can really find something to do in every corner of the park. Plus, it's a much longer event!
If you could afford it and had the time, which event seems like a better one to experience twice and why?
