Air canada is much cheaper but I like the time of westjet better, which is currently $500 more expensive !Yes I booked flights ages ago when I booked my hotel. Now I'm kicking myself as there are better deals and times available. Unfortunately my tickets are non refundable
I wish we had southwest from Toronto to Orlando! Haha the ones we have available here will not refund anything unfortunately!

We have an 8:00 pm ressie for Ohana on our world showcase day. Should I cancel the ressie and eat at Epcot or keep the ressie? I would hate to have to leave the world showcase if we are having a good time and we did Ohana on our last trip.
well right now they ARE doing saturday so let's keep up hope. They are doing 3 days that correspond with the days that MK is open late and only one that corresponds with a party day (there are 4 party days and 3 non party days at the MK most weeks). So this says to me that rather than trying to provide alternate entertainment for the nights when MK closes early for the party, they are trying to alleviate crowds at the MK on non party nights. As long as they keep up with that goal I think we should be fine in December.
we are in good company. have been reading the star wars thread for a while, back to july where people in august were stressing. We are members of the club now. I really hope it happens on saturday and even though I can make it work, it is so disruptive to my flow i may not even bother if it's another night. Was looking forward to meeting my lovely DIS peeps as much as anything at this point!
it's not a sign because September/October/November before tgivign and first two weeks of december are typically lighter crowds. Typically VERY light crowds january, february (except for february break week in the northeast) and first week of march. then lighter crowds through the middle of june except for spring break/easter time (like the fall). highest crowds are typically summer, spring break, tgiving/xmas/new year's. any time kids are out of school.I'm wondering if this is some sort of sign that they're expecting light crowds through October. That, or they're trying to force all the non-free dining people (since most of October was blacked out) to purchase hoppers. Or they're just taking penny pinching to a whole new level. I'm just so bummed about this development.
And that is great news about the extended AK evening hours! Another step in the right direction is how I'm looking at it. 
I'll be in AK that day but had been planning to go over for fireworks.

I just looked up the pdf travel agent hours updated back in august and yes many days at AK were 7pm, some 7:30 now they are all 8:30. hoping at least 8pm in December, that would give me flexibility wrt rumors of light
