***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I know this has been said before but I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your help, advice, lightheartedness!! etc.. My family gives me a hard time for all of the time I spend planning, but it's really nice having a group of people that are just as excited and determined to make the trip so special. I know that no matter what we do it will be great and special. There are just things that I really want to see (never got to go to when I was a kid....my kids favorite characters...etc...) and if it's an option to do these things, I really want to try my hardest to make them happen! I know we're all really determined and very similar in that sense, so it's really nice to have a place where we all understand our concerns/excitement!

yes, what did @Talby say that i was going to tattoo on my forehead? already forgot lol. But yes it will be great no matter what but no reason you shouldn't try to make it as great as possible!

and I agree the planning with you lovely people has been so much fun the magic has been going on for months before my trip, what a way to make it last!

I think the wave at 5pm is going to be too late with SW party. Even if the fireworks are at 8, you need to be there by 6:45 and with travel time that is cutting it very close... it is very possible the fireworks will be earlier.

on 12/7 MM and Sci Fi are a little close as MM is a huge meal. but if you are planning to do apps and shakes at sci fi I think it will be fine (that was my plan pre-dining plan)

wow spirit of aloha and then dinner after???? that is mighty ambitious lol. there is no way I could eat dinner at 10:25 at night. or is it a "nibble what you feel like, we want to meet the characters" kind of a thing?

1) if a second F! show is added, it is not part of the dining package...only the first
2) to book the dining F! package on MDE, you search on the Fantasmic! Dining Package page.......duh..haha

i would be shocked if a second show was added. it was cut for budgetary reasons (and i think the second show was very empty as it is an older show). But I do hope they make fireworks later

oh it must be 10:25AM not PM for CP lol. it seemed like you were going to have dinner at 10:25 at night! If MK is open til 11 they might still be serving, who knows?!

SW BETTER be the priority! I would be searching for maybe a 4pm or so dinner at Sci Fi, it might be a long shot but it would kill two birds with one stone for you there! if no then it is def a restaurant you can eat lighter at!

So I booked a random 1900 park fare breakfast this morning that I saw open (I think day of MVMCP or day after.) Has anyone been there? I booked it because I've never been and the time worked out. LOL

Yes to the bolded! I can't believe it, but right now I am holding 3 reservations within 1 h 25 m of each other on one day! I did NOT make those all on my ADR day either. I think I made one of them first, then added another, and then a couple days ago added yet another and the system never prompted me to cancel the others. I'll have to take care of it soon though, all these ADR's are really starting to bug me. Yet, every time I go to cancel one I find myself hesitating because I still don't know what the park hours are going to look like for sure. Grr... Disney, get your act together!

Totally know what you mean... I really wish they would just make their announcements. I think the uncertainty of hours is making ppl hold more ADRs than they need.

@rasadkowski There's a couple of ways to do this:

In MDE:
1. Parks and Tickets
2. Hollywood Studios
3. Dining
3. Date/Time/Party Size
This will show you all dining options available including F! packages for the entire park.

OR

In MDE:
1. Search "Fantasmic Package"
2. Select Restaurant, date, party size.
This searches just for the F! package, just like any other ADR you'd look for.

There are probably other ways but these are what I use most.

Minnie's Seasonal Dine at H&V is only dinner, which I believe is 3 and after? The Disney Jr. characters are there for breakfast/lunch. You could also book JUST H&V for dinner, not with the F! package included. For example, I have Mama Melrose F! package at 11:10 because I haven't been able to get the H&V Dinner one. So I would be happy to just get H&V dinner with no F! package. Does that make sense? It's a little confusing!! lol

@rasadkowski i agree this is the most efficient way to look for it. I think the F! Package for Minnie's holiday dine at Hollywood and Vine would be between 3-5pm, which is why I suggested you set the TP finder for 4pm after 5pm would be a regular dinner ADR, which you could book too and maybe just get a FP for fantasmic. Right now the schedule shows it to show at 7pm once every night.

Now I see...especially since I put that the late time was intentional! By that I meant late BREAKFAST because of the MVMCP the night before! lol I corrected that major typo. You're the BEST--thanks!!

SW is the PRIORITY for sure! Thinking we could hop over to HS this day for H&V non-F! dinner too if we can get one early enough for SW. May squeeze in The Wave breakfast somewhere. I just have it in my head we need to eat there.

Great plans!! agree with @Lisa F 12/7 meals seem close. If you could move Sci Fi to 12/3 a little earlier in the day it would be good oh on 12/6, there's a lot of new outdoor kiosk stuff in Disney springs that look good too, if you have not checked it out I wanted to do a lunch to try all the different stuff (poutine, sausage sampler, stuff from Yesake and Aristocrepes, frontera has a take out counter too I think for margaritas )
