1st week in Aug

Suprise trip for 40th august 3rd never been then.
How r the crowds? Heat?
Staying at CBR

First of all, congratulations!!

We'll be there the same week. We will arrive on the 4th. In fact, we may be staying at CBR too, but my husband is keeping that part of the trip a surprise.

Aug is hot and humid. Most days it rains in the afternoon. Crowds are heavy, but with some planning they are manageable. Go early and use pastpass when you can. We usually take a break in the afternoon and go back to the resort to rest, nap, or swim. The heat takes alot of you. We would go back to the parks in the evening.

Okay I want to share in the excitement. We arrive August 6th and staying at the CBR! That's right DH, DD6, DS6months and me. See ya there!

We arrrive on the 31st and staying at the BWV before we go off to VB and then OKW for the 2 nd week!!

Hot and Humid is the answer!!! Plenty of pool time for us..........

We'll be there also, OKW- August 3-13!
Our 14 year old niece has never been there before and the rest of the party has, but for some it has been many years ago. My sister and I were there last July, for some reason the heat did not seem to bother me as much as the very first time we visited (1977). We took the suggestion of going early to the park and taking a break in the afternoon, then return to the park in the evening. Had a great time and am anxiously awaiting to go again!

Hi disneyjulie,candykisses, and kimickey. We will be at the CBR Aug.5-12. It would be nice to meet up with everyone. Our friends are going with us that has NEVER been to Disney. It may be warm, but we hope to have a GREAT time. Keep in touch.

We will also be there the first week of Aug. We arrive July 31 and are staying at the ASMo. We always go this week and yes it is hot and crowded. My best tip is to bring a rain coat, a battery operated fan, and drink lots of water(bottled).

If you use fastpass your day will go really smooth. We like going this time of the year because the parks are open later. We also like to use to early entry hour. We usally get a lot done in that time.
