I was to US back in 1992 on my senior trip...wow a long time ago!
Anyway we were considering going there with our kids...they'll be 9, 6 and 1 1/2 y.o. Do you think they'd enjoy it and if so do we get the $81 pass for them too?? We plan to only go for 3-4 days at the parks...should we stay onsite to wait in shorter lines?? And if so where???
Any help's appreciated here!

If you can I would stay onsite cause then you get the unlimited express passes what we call FOTL which lets you bypass the normal lines and depending on when you go can be great cause some wait times can get to be 60 mins or longer and yes I would go ahead and get the $81 passes and pretty sure the 1 1/2 doesn't need a ticket cause I believe they charge for 3 and up .
Hope this helps and have a great time :goodvibes

Yes - it is worth it!
We usually combine WDW and US/IOA into one vacation. We stay at Royal Pacific Resort at US the first few days then head to WDW. RPR is wonderful - similar to the Poly. It is a nice walk or boat ride - closest to IOA.
We went last November - our boys were 5 and 12 months. I find it more relaxing compared to WDW. Because the kids are young - there are a lot of rides we can't do as a family or choose not to do. The rides/shows have to be good for us to split up and wait while the other one rides. FOTL access is great! I feel like we are not as commando at US/IOA because there is less that we want to do but I still enjoy it very much!
