1st time to make Reservations- Question

It doesn't really fit into the dining category but I've never made reservations but we usually don't decide which parks we are going to on which days until we get there and see the extra magic hours or just hours in general. Since reservations are such a big deal there must be a way to know this ahead of time right? Or am I the only psycho who wants to be at the parks from the time I get off the plane til I get back on?

Yes, we do address questions regarding making dining reservations on the main restaurant board - but not on the dining plan board as it's not a dining plan question - so I'm moving this to the main board.
