Hi everybody,

just found this forum, me and my family are off to disneyland for the 1st time 2 moro night spending 5 days and 4 nights in the Sequoia Lodge.

i would appreciate if anyone would advise me what we should do and best rides are to make the few days a great experience

thanks shell xx :)

Oh wow how lucky! You have nice amount of time there so I recommend you do everything ;) Seriously it all depends on ages and fave things?

By far, the best ride is the Crush coaster @ Hollywood Studios.

We just returned from our Paris trip on the 15th. We only visited the parks for 1 day and other than missing the RC ride, we saw and rode everything we had planned, did a little shopping and were still able to head out to the train at 9:00.
We were staying outside the city centre and it was a long train ride across Paris so we didn't want to stay too late.

The parks are fairly small and the lines were relatively short, most wait times when we were there averaged 15min or less. Needless to say, we were quite surprised.
I would imagine if you planned to spend a full day at each park you would be able to have a very leisurely park visit both days and get a chance to see everything in each.
You should probably plan to spend some time at Disney Village (the Paris DTD)also.

HTH
Enjoy your trip.

Hi misfitcena,

Welcome to the Disneyland Paris Trip Planning & Community Board :goodvibes.

We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1477038,
DIS posting guidelines can be found here

you can download a parks programme from the DLP website, this will give you lots of information about the rides and attractions and their timings while you are there.
All European schools are now off on summer holidays as of the start of this week, so from now until end of August its high season at DLP, so it will be busy. However you're going for 5 days so I'm sure you'll find plenty of time to enjoy your stay and do your favourite rides over and over again :). A lot of seasoned summer visitors to DLP take time out in the middle of the day to have a swim or a relax at your hotel, then go back to the parks in the evening until the end of the park day at 11pm.

Hope you have a great trip and you should come back and tell us all about it :goodvibes

Hi!
We just got back from our first trip to DLP, and were very lucky to spend 10 days there. Our family stayed at the DL Hotel for 5 days (amazing), and then the Sequoia Lodge for the other 5. Overall, we enjoyed the Sequoia, but for the first time in our lives, had to ask for a room change. Despite our travel agent's requests, they had my 2 teen boys and I in one full sized bed! :confused3 When they changed our room number, we then got one of the OLD rooms in the main lodge. :sad2: After one night, we were so overwhelmed by the smell of mildew (there was actually a hole in the window frame that was letting in the ice cold June air) and the construction banging in the rooms nearby that were being refurbished, that we just HAD to move. Prior to 11:00am, they made us take all of our luggage back into storage for the day (there are no bell hops), and allowed us into our new room after 5:00. Essentially we lost an entire day, but still had to pay full price for our "accomodations". Word to the wise, be sure you get a refurbed room!!
Other than this episode, we had a spectacular time :yay:

The best rides to go on would probably depend on the age of your children?

Suzie.
