Hi, I know you folks have the best info!.....

I'm staying at a 1 bedroom BCV, leaving on 4-18
If you have any help hints..i.e. parking, eating breakfast (dinners already planned), getting around secrets, checking in (is it at the Beach Club?), or any tid bit

I've stayed at WLV, OKW, SS, BWV, so if there are any comparisons...

Thank you all!!:confused3

I dont have any insider info per say at BCV but 2 of our "must do's" while staying there are floating/swimming the lazy river at SAB and getting a "kitcken sink" at Beaches & Cream.

while its not exactly a "secret" path, in the space between BCR and BCV, there is a sidewalk which takes you behind BCR and is a great short cut to get to epcot (when coming back from epcot, look for an open gate right before you hit BCR).

They show Disney movies on the beach at night. We like to grab a chair on our walk home from the parks and catch a little bit of the movie.
The atmosphere is great with the Boarkwalk in the distance sitting on the beach next to the water.

Are the movies shown every night? What time do they start? Thanks,

They were scheduled each night when we were there recently. They sell marshmallows for toasting and bags of ingredients for S'mores ($3 and $7). It's also fun to rent the boats at the marina and explore Crescent lake. One person not to miss is Art. He greets everyone at the door (has been there for 15 years). He is full of interesting stories and has great pins! You will love it!!

The Dolphin is next door and they have a nice quick service restaurant/cafeteria called Pikabu's that sells decent coffee!

The quick serve restaurant in the market at BC is great - excellent pastries, sandwiches, and gelato (YUM). We enjoyed picking up something and eating it while relaxing in our villa.

We like to walk over to Yacht club for breakfast they have a great buffet. If you like sports lunch at the ESPN club over at BWV has some great sandwiches.

Or, watch the fireworks and the movie at the beach at the same time.:)

The market has very good eggbake in the AM, nice sized portions. We like to walk to EPCOT for CS meals at Mexico, Morroco, McDonalds, America, China and the close one is Fish n chips. Also France deserts we bring back to the enjoy on the beach watching the boats. Recommend the No Way Jose' at Beaches. Also recommend doing Beaches for an early dinner to be less busy-like 4PMish. On occasion we will all walk over to EPCOT and go in, give the park passes to one person who will then walk over to either TT or Soarin to get FP's for later on before they sell out for the day. The rest walk right back and swim/get more rest/get ready for the day etc. Sets up a nice evening of a Japan ADR, a highly sought after FP and Illuminations. We leave our room 15 minutes before an ADR or expiring FP and know we will be on time. We like the chairs on the beach better than in SAB. Have to walk out past them for the slide anyway and its always plenty of room. The powdered sugar sand is great. The workout facilty is very nice as well.

The movies have been shown every nite the several times I've been there the last few years. The exact time varies with sun-down, so they aren't shown at the same time every month. If there's a private function on the BC beach, they're shown over by the Yacht Club. If it's raining, the movies are shown in the Solarium. What some people so is get an ice cream at B&C beforehand, then walk over to the movie. When we went in October, what was really nice was that the time was such that the Illuminations went off in the backround while we were watching the movie.

Here's the schedule from last October (that sign's on the BC beach). I loved the movies so much that I arranged almost every day so that I was back there in time to see the movie.
