Samantha... I just saw the link in your signature from your post on my PTR... how could I have missed it before!!! Your plans sound wonderful..... I am so jealous about the red sox game... we are HUGE Red Sox fans...we drive from Syracuse twice each summer to go to a game... watch them all on TV... DD boyfriend is also a huge fan... he has a life size David Ortiz in his college room...

your plans sound great... we have stayed at POP before.. its tons of fun.. and on of my favorite food courts... DS actually likes POP better than any of the moderates we have stayed at... its only second to Shades of Green and that is only because at SOG he can walk right out to the putting green...

can't wait to see your engagement photos from the world showcase...

Can you believe when I was at my parents house last weekend, right on the counter was that same pin offer you got. I was like MOM! why didn't you tell me about this? All she could say was "it wasnt' for the dates we were going". lol

Yay fellow Sox fans!! That is so funny about your DD's BF having Ortiz's cutout in his room! I have pics of Pedroia and I last year from a press event I was having at my work... my cousin and I waiting very patiently with our baseballs to have him sign them... I gave one to my DF and the other to my DB for X-mas!

And for karma and luck this year... here is me with the ring from 07, this one is actually sized for Ortiz and IT WAS HUGE!!! I couldn't even wear it on my Thumb! We went to Fenway on Mothers day this past May and tried them on... if there is no home game they do a Fenway walk around which is free, duggouts, field, press box... makes a great little day trip!

So exciting to hear so many good things about the POP, it looks like a very fun lievly place I will make sure I post pics of the WS Engagment pics when I get back

Thanks for reading Shannon! My Goodness thats crazy, honestly I was shocked to get an offer because I never lucky lol, but this one was too good to pass up! And having $500 waiting for me at checking will make it very easy to justify "just one more mickey shirt" lol!

Ok well Day 3 is done, what next??? Well Day 4 of course!!

Day 4: Animal Kingdom Day

Well Since DF loves AK this is going to be a fun day for sure! He is a Kali River Rapids nut, he rode 3 times in a row last year which he thought was the coolest thing ever...

Now here is the backstory on that... it was 20 mins till closing at AK and about 50 degrees outside. He thought it would be great to ride KRR becuase "It's a little chilly, I bet we won't have a long line" . Well there was NO LINE, DF was shocked and so happy! So we rode it, and when it was time to get off the lady said "Stay in if you want to go on again" So you guessed it... we did. I was out voted on the decision.
Then she let us ride again... by the 3rd time I was frozen and the wind was not helping. So we got off, ran to the car and blasted the heat lol! 50 degrees is not really cold for us New Englanders, but 50 degrees soaking wet... not fun! We rode it twice during the daywhen it was in the seventies and that was great though!

So AK day this time should be more pleasent and (hopefully) warmer! We will be traveling pretty early to get there for rope drop if possible. Ride a few rides and then we have an ADR for Donalds Breakfast Safari! I am excited for this meal only beacuse we have never tried it, and it looks like fun. Plus, I am looking forward to seeing Donald all decked out in safari gear (dorky I know)!

Then rides, more rides, a show or two and we ill leave our dear loevly animal kingdom . Oh well, we will return soon right?

For dinner this night we will be dining at Spoodles on the Boardwalk. DF and I have never been to the boardwalk, and since we are getting married at the Atlantic Dance Hall, we figured maybe we shoukld check it out! So after dinner a nice stroll and a little scoping out of our reception site are in order!

A nice relaxing evening, maybe an ice cream cone from Beaches and Cream, then back to POP for a quick swim then bedtime.

Has anyone had Spoodles or Donalds before?? What are they like?

Night time is the best time to do the Boardwalk. My favorite thing to do at the boardwalk is Jellyrolls. Its a dueling piano bar that is a lot of fun. The best time to go is on the weekends it is more crowded and its give the place a lot more energy rather than a weekday! Hope you get to go!

Thanks for reading so far! That is too funny!! You need to train him that ordering anything that doesn't have pineapple in it from Aloha Isle is simply not heard of in WDW! I am sitting here laughuing at my desk right now

I like your plans! As I told you on my PTR - we're going to take your advice for an ADR at Ohana after we watch the fireworks on the beach. I want to hear how that works out for y'all!
