Obviously, I'm jumping in late since your trip is only a few days away! Sounds like you & your DF have LOTS to do while you're there, and it should be a fun trip. I can't wait to hear about it when you come back! A lot of "firsts" for your trip are things I want to do on our December trip, like Mini-golf at Winter Summerland, pretzel rods from Goofy's Candy Co., and lunch at Le Cellier, so I definitely look forward to reading about ALL of those things!!

And I hope you feel better soon!! Here's some pixie dust for a sick-free trip!

Thanks for the pixie dust, I hope we can shake the last bit of everything before Sunday! I will make sure to start my TR as soon as I get back... I must admit I am a little sad that I am not going in December this year like you, it really is my favorite time of year at WDW

Ok so I have had a few days and all I have managed to get donw from my list is going to the bank and getting a wheely suitcase from my folks lol! I am really starting to get the overwhelming "I have a tone left to do before i go and approximately no time to do it in" feeling!

I have an hour or so tonight and an hour or so tomorrow night, so hopefully I can finish cleaning the bathroom, getting all my medicine together and the packing done... I am leaving laundry till Saturday since I am a huge slacker with that right now, but I did make an appointment for a mani/pedi on Sat afternoon so that is going to be done as well

Also, I made a very smart decision with DF that he would handle the kitchen cleaning if I did the living room and bathroom (he refuses to clean the bathroom lol, such a guy!) So I guess I can cross that off as well

1) Go to the Bank - gotta get the funds in order ya know! CHECK

2) Laundry, laundry and more laundry - a weeks worht has piled up and our washer is broken so I will be heading to my folks house for a bit... ummm I think this will wait until Saturday afternoon lol

3) Manicure/Pedicure for me (a girls gotta have flip flop ready toes!)appt for Sat, so I guess I can cross this off CHECK

4) Pack... I sorta kinda started, I got all my clothes together and in the suitcase at least I am doing this tonight if it kills me!

5) Borrow a wheely carry on bag from my mom since mine got "lost in the move" (and I have no clue where it is!) CHECK DONE AND DONE!

6) Get all our medicine together for the trip... we have asthma, allergy, prescriptions and all the other cold/flu things I am now paranoid we need to bring after being sick for a week ehh this will happened Saturday as well since I still need most of them lol

7) Clean the kitchen - I made a deal with DF that if he does the kitchen I will ahndle the living room and Bathroom so I guess I can check this off too

8) Clean the bathroom -Tomorrow night (I have to do this pre mani/pedi lol)

9) Clean the living room - Saturday afternoon, this is kind of an easy one, but I just hate to vacum

So at least I have a timeline and schedule for this stuff, now I just have to stick to it lol!

Hello! I got caught up just in time for the trip really! Your list seems very manageable. I know that cleaning and laundry before a trip is the hardest thing for me to do but Im always glad I did it. I am one of those people that I don't mind doing the laundry but I hate folding and putting away. I'm sure you will be able to get everything taken care of! I can't believe you leave so soon! I'm so excited for you!

Thanks Tarah! I actually woke my DF up last night at 11:30 to ask him where his suitcase was so i could go put the ME tags on it! He did not share my enthusiasm for that one lol!

Ok so funny story... last night I went to get my eyebrows waxed before the trip (gotta primp a little right?) and I had a new wax girl... well when she asked where I was going and I told here WDW, she started yelling about how muich she loves Disney!!!!

So picture this lovely image if you will... me sitting down with green wax on my eyebrows, and a tiny little blonde jumping up and down holding a stick with wax on it, both of us talking about Disney. Now when I say talking I actually mean yelling because another waxer came in to make sure we were ok! It was too flippin' funny! We talked about what hotels we are styaing at (she already booked her free dining package at the GF for August BTW) and what we do each day.

So we made quite a spectacule of ourselves and had a grand ol time!

I just wanted to say hi. I read through your trip report and enjoyed it very much. I completely understand about the trip home taking forever. DH and I drove last year to Disney and going down we got there so fast, coming home took forever. We are even contenplating staying overnight half way back this year because the trip took so long.

I'm sorry you all didn't get to do the HM again, it is one of my favorite rides!

I can't wait to hear your final thoughts.
