So I made an online purchase this morning that I hope arrives before the trip (fingers crossed) I was on the Dis and Angela posted a super cute Little Mermaid tee she got at Hot Topic. So I went online and found this blast from my past, so I just had to get it!

I know, after everything I've heard about it, I have vowed our honeymoon will not end before I get to taste one! (I think I've told my DF that about 10 times, but he just kinda rolls his eyes at me... lol)

That's an awesome shirt!! Go Ducktales! It's too funny, but as I was going through old pics to put together scrapbook pages for the wedding, I found one of myself in Ducktales PJ's! (they were pink and had Webby on them) I just had to share with another Ducktales fan!

haha thats awesome! I haven't seen DuckTales in years and apparently it is trendy again. I found the shirt at Hot Topic, how crazy is that?? My students shop there not me lol! Oh well, I am going to rock that shirt like it's 1990 again

Ok so I last left off with Day 5, so....

On to Day 6 (our very sad last day in the World)

Since this is also the day we will be leaving, I am sure it will begin with me frantically running around trying to pack everything... just a hunch though. DF will get in my way, I will get in his, we will finally just give up shove everything into a suitcase and vow sort it out once we get home. Thankfully on this trip we actually will be able to sort it out once we get home since we come home on a Friday and don't have work until Monday (recovery days lol).

We are kind of playing this day by ear (weird huh?). Here is what I am thinking about if time allows.

7:30am Wake up and do "the packing shuffle"

8:30am Pool (if weather allows of course)

11:00am Check Out, leave luggage at bell services and bus to Mini-Golf

If we do Mini-Golf at Fantasia we may eat lunch at Beaches and Cream on the Boardwalk... but we shall see

If we do Mini-Golf at Winter/Summerland we will then go to DTD for lunch at EOS.

1 or 2PM (depending)- Shop and/or Dine at DTD and then head back to the hotel for 5:00pm ME bus

Then we depart WDW (at least until August, but more on that PTR as it gets closer lol)

What do you guys think of that? Good last day or too full? I figure we have at least 8 hours at the world that day so we might as well use em right!

AUGH! I Ducktales! LOL. I think I still know a lot of the words to the song...(used to know them ALL). I'm going to have to go check out Hot Topic!

Your last day sounds TOTALLY doable to me. As long as you give yourself enough time to get back to the resort in time for the ME. Might as well cram as much magic in that last day as you can!

I just found out that the airline changed our return flight. AGAIN! And now it's an hour earlier! They're starting to eat into my Mickey time and I'm not happy about it!

Don't know how I missed your pre-trip!!

Ok, well I have a plan for day 2 now and a super fun Dis bonus for Day 1!

On the first day there we will be meeting up with.... The DisBrides !!! I am very excited that we will all get to meet in person and eat some yummy DTD snacks together, I'm sure it will be alot of fun! !


Ok, on to Day 3...

This will be MK day!! Who doesn't love the Magic Kingdom?? Anyways, we will be getting up bright and early today and catching the bus over to MK. After I rush towards the castle like a loony toon, I think we will take in a few rides in Fanatsyland, then over to Adventureland and make our way around from there

During this time there is ALOT of food involved... I am talking alot! We have a few standard favorites that we always go to at the MK, they are... in particular order...

Aloha Isle for a Dole Float (at least 2 during the day actually )

Caseys for Corn Dog Nuggets... I never eat this bad, but on MK day the rules don't apply, and those little suckers are yummy!

Columbia Harbour House for Chicken tenders and Fries, again bad but yummy!

Main Street Bakery for a snack in the morning

and the new addition this year... our first ADR of the trip... Crystal Palace for a late Dinner (7:30)!! If all goes well we should even be done in time to see the fireworks (cross your fingers please )

So you see basically our day will look like this... ride...snack...ride...ride...lunch...ride...snack...ride...snack... well you get the idea lol!
A lot of eating and a lot of rides!
Just the way I like it!

You are a girl after my own heart. MK holds a special place to me. I used to work at the Main St Markethouse (now Arribas Brothers ) But MK has the best snacks...next to EPCOT.

I'm all for a full last day! What else are you going to do? Sit around and wait for the bus to come? Might as well as enjoy those 8 hrs! You can relax at home.

haha no not at all! Ducktales was a cartoon on in the 80's/90's with Huey, Dewey and Louie, and few "Ducktales" exclusive characters. It was on afterschool on disney channel, but I have never seen it in reruns (sadly)

Yes 1 week it is!!! I am quiet excited! I will take lots of pics, actually your trip is pretty close now as well!

Ahhhhhh 5 Days till WDW!!!! I am so excited!!!!

So it has been a little while, so I will fill you all in on the "going's on" up here in Boston.

First of all, sickness is running amock in my house right now! Last week I was diagnosised with pneumonia and was very very sick for the majority of the week. Now, this gave my DF a very bad cold (not as serious I know, but this man is a baby when it comes to being sick ) So, we have been drinking tons of juice and taking oodles of cold medicine and prescriptions from the MD to get us in tip top Disney shape again!

I also have been busy getting all the loose ends tied up before the trip, and being sick for a week just made the list longer! So I figured I would make a "To-Do" list of the things that need to be done before Sunday. I apologize in advance if this is boring but it will help organize my thoughts a bit, so I will not be offended if you stop reading right now...

1) Go to the Bank - gotta get the funds in order ya know!

2) Laundry, laundry and more laundry - a weeks worht has piled up and our washer is broken so I will be heading to my folks house for a bit...

3) Manicure/Pedicure for me (a girls gotta have flip flop ready toes!)

4) Pack... I sorta kinda started, I got all my clothes together and in the suitcase at least

5) Borrow a wheely carry on bag from my mom since mine got "lost in the move" (and I have no clue where it is!)

6) Get all our medicine together for the trip... we have asthma, allergy, prescriptions and all the other cold/flu things I am now paranoid we need to bring after being sick for a week

7) Clean the kitchen

8) Clean the bathroom

9) Clean the living room

So if I make it through all those things I will be amazed!!

Oh and my DuckTales shirt came in the mail and it is super cute! DF saw it and was asking where his was lol! I also went to CVS at lunch today and picked up a few ponchos for the trip... I figure if we have them, maybe we won't need them ... not likely though, the forcast for our trip calls for rain everyday... oh well as long as my pneumonia doesn't come back it can rain a little Disney rain!

I know, I cannot wait to be in the Florida sun instead of the decpetive MA sunshine (even though it is still 30 degrees lol)
