1st time at DL buttons?

Can you get the 1st time to DL buttons at DL? If so, where do you get them?

Yes you can, at city hall on main street

We got them when we went in 09. I don't remember if we got them at the hotel, Paradice Pier, or at guest services at the parks. But we still have them in our photo albums. enjoy!!!

Also at the front desk of the Disney Hotels and at guest services outside the turnstiles of DL.

You can also get buttons at some of the stores. I know for sure you can get them at the Emporium and also the store by IASW. I'm sure there are others but those are the stores i've gotten them from before. I always get my buttons somewhere besides city hall because there always seems to be a big line there.

Yep Yep! They are free at City Hall on Main Street!
We walked in to ask an unrelated question regarding Fantasmic and they insisted on us having the pins!

I recently saw them at the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney, for free of course. Left side entrance closest to the security check point, right corner as you enter, it's a castmember station so if you see a person posted at the entrance ask them about it.

City Hall at DL is the most common place to get them, but most time there is a long line, I lined up to get one for our guest only to learn that they were all out. Best to try other places first, and keep City Hall as a plan B. Guest relations too, not sure about ticket booths.

City Hall is one of the worst places to get pins.

Why? Because it can have a line of people asking for all sorts of crazy things. So the wait can be 10, 15 or 45 minutes.

So where should you get pins? Ask a CM, anywhere. I have gotten the buttons from ride attractions CMs, Custodial CM's, Greeter CMs, Merchandise CM's, Hotel Staff CMs.....and at Guest Services.

But I won't wait for more than a couple minutes at City Hall for this wonderful freebie, because it's so much simpler to ask as I go about my day rather than make a special trip into crowded place with a sole purpose.

Hmmmm...did we just get lucky on Easter??? We walked right in to City Hall mid afternoon & up to the counter - no line..and asked our silly newbie questions.

Hope you get lucky with no wait..I'd definitely pick one up (or purchase) you get attention & advice!

We got ours from the CM at Mickey's House in ToonTown. Very special for my 6yo !!

We walked right into city hall and got ours. No line but I think most people were watching the fireman show.
