1st solo trip for empty nesters. AK Tour Help Please

DH and I will be going to WDW for the first time without DS and DD and I'm looking to surprise DH with a tour in AK. We've been fans of the tours: done Segway in EPCOT a couple times and KTTK in MK. Loved them. What is there for us to do behind the scenes in AK?

My dad and I did the Backstage Safari tour a couple years ago and we LOVED it. So much fun! We got a behind the scenes look at some of the facilities and an up-close encounter with one of the animals...(I won't say which one so I don't ruin anything). There's also the newer Wild Africa Trek tour which also looks really cool but is more expensive.

Technically, though I don't really care one way or the other, two people going together is not a solo trip. It takes one to be solo! Just thought I would clarify that for no particular reason other than to be a pain in the posterior.

That out of the way....have a great time. I think WDW is best with just two.
