1st grandbaby any day now! (update page 2)

Had to share this with someone. My first grandchild is due today. DS called and said an ultrasound was done yesterday and they figure the baby to be about 7lbs 14oz. As of yesterday she was dialated to a 3 and they removed the mucous plug. Positive on the baby being a boy(Aidan Tyler). The mom to be has been having a really bad time with her asthma(sp). She's just a little thing and has gotten so huge(she looks adorable pregnant). I'm really excited. Babies first trip to WDW will be 12/05. Lot's to look forward to. Well i'll stop blabbering now. How exciting! Hope things go great with the Mom. Our 3rd g'child was born last Sat - almost a week old. She has a 7 month old brother and a 10½ y/o sister!! There's nothing like spoiling g'kids! Enjoy every minute - they grow up so fast.

You really sound soooo excited and I fell your enthusiasm as we're expecting our first Grandchild too.............only we've to wait until the first week of November as he/she is still "cooking"!

Meriweather: yes it is very exciting. My DS is beeming all the time. He had to buy a heartbeat monitor.had the whole family listening. Took the new stroller for a test drive around the apartment. There was lots of goggles about that at the baby shower.

lisajl: She will do well i'm sure. She will have lots of support.

Poohstyx: 3 thats wonderfull. We've allready started the spoiling. 1st grandbaby all around.

Brer-Papa: 5 grandchildren, I bet christmas is fun. We are all going to be at the hospital for the birth, hope they stock lots of kleenex!!!

Yardbird: we all became excited about the first ultra sound picture can't imagine how bad we will be with the baby.

nativetxn: I know what you mean. I wanted a grandbaby for a long time myself. My two oldest are 30 and 31 so they have been dealing with the granny clock for awhile now(lol).

Dan: My son is so funny. He plans on video taping the delivery, but no way is he cutting the cord .

Aidan Tyler--- 8lbs 10ozs---22'' long. Beautiful baby boy. Looks very much like his Proud Daddy. He arrived Sunday night. His picture is now my cell phone screensaver. Everyone is doing fine. My sister also found out yesterday her DD will be a mom for the first time,2nd grandbaby for my sis. Great Grandma is floating on clouds. Aidan, Love Grandma.
