Day Three- Mon. Feb 3rd-Rest day and moving resorts- We woke up...packed a little
ate a light breakfast at Captain Cooks...walked to the TTC
rode the monorail around the Epcot loop (cuz I had never done it before)
used the Polynesian pool
played on the beach
sat in the hammock watching the MK
and then checked out of the Polynesian around 1:00 PM. We drove to the BWV and checked in (see resorts). We walked over to Beaches N Cream and got lunch (see dining) and then took the boat back to the boardwalk. My DH used the hot tub at the quiet pool and my DD and I played at the Luna Pool, the kiddie pool, and the playground there. They werent feeling too good
.so they napped while I explored the resort, the boardwalk
everything in the area. We ended up just getting take-out from Spoodles take-out window.
Day Four- Tues. Feb 4th-EE day at MGM/evening at Epcot- We were down at the boat dock around 7:40 or so and at the gates of MGM just a little after opening. My DH went to ride TOT and RNR. The only other 2 things that were open yet were Star Tours and Muppets. Yuk. My dd and I were hoping to see characters. We walked around in search of characters but found none. Most of the streets were blocked off. There were quite a few more people here for EE than there had been at MK on Sun (or maybe it was just more noticeable, but it still felt like we had the place all to ourselves. We leisurely made it to Muppets and there was no wait..so we gave in and watched Muppets. I met my DH at The Great Movie Ride just before 9:00 (regular park opening). He wanted to do Star Tours. I let him go. When the Great Movie Ride opened though, and there was no signs of him I got a little anxious and decided to do it without him. There was no line to speak of and I enjoyed it (girl gangster). We met him outside and went to get in line for the first showing of Playhouse. It was clear that my DD wasnt doing too good and could use some more sleep. My DH wanted to rest too. We decided to skip Playhouse since we were only going there for DD anyway and she was NOT in the mood. She loves this one though. My DH insisted on doing backlot before he left though .so we trekked over there. There was a little wait, but then we relaxed on the tram. Not too big of deal. They took the boat back to the hotel to rest and I was FREE. It felt great. I went to Millionaire. NEAT SHOW! Then Beauty and the Beast (loved it my DD would have too though .boo hoo). I browsed the shops for awhile (have never gotten to do this). I was curious about Drew Carey so I did that, but I HATED it. I feel really bad for any parents that had unknowingly taken their kids in there. The poor things must have been scared to death. I was feeling claustrophobic or something after just a few minutes of complete darkness. I started to get sick. Ughhhh. I had wanted to try the food at Prime Time but I was alone .so I sat and ordered a meal from the bar. PB&J shake good!! It started to drizzle and was getting close to parade time so I figured I had better go. I caught the boat returned to the hotel and laid down for a nap .ahhh ..good day.
But .I SLEPT TOO LONG. Good thing we were going to Epcot. We took the boat to the Inter. Gateway and walked through France, etc. until Germany where we decided to take the boat over to Mexico then walk to Canada for dinner at LeCellier (see dining). Everyone was tired and some were still feeling under the weather, so we just leisurely took our time the rest of the way to the Intern. Gateway and took the boat home. We watched the fireworks from our room.
