The wife and I were very exited to take our first DVC trip since becoming DVC Board Walk members a few months back. We needed a break so we flew down to Vero for a long weekend.
We were VERY impressed with the resort. It manages to capture that Disney magic we so love. Everything was first class without being stuffy.
The weather didn't really coperate and was overcast and cool the whole time. Since we were just looking to relax it didn't damper our good time. We spent the time eating, getting massages etc.
The resort looks perfect, you could not really tell a killer hurricane had recently rolled through, well until you left the resort. A stroll down the beach showed extensive damage to every property we saw. I counted numerous walkays to nowhere that had been destroyed.
Many of the local buildings were in rough shape too.
The only little thing I'd like to see changed were the beds, those things were like rocks!
So far so good on the DVC front!
