Please share your most magical tips and advise? This will be our first trip during the holidays! We will be at WL 12-12 thru 12-17! I would love some tips for making this an extra magical trip for ds(7)! Any not-to-miss events or meals? Would love any tips on restaurants (we love character meals!) We would like to do one MVMCP, which one do you suggest? We are soooo excited! TIA!

Well Jacksmom your family and me and DW will be in the same boat. We are going 12-4-04 - 12-10-04 and staying at the WL. This is our first time during the holidays as our 2nd time this year. We went in April, the week b4 Easter for our honeymoon.

Go ahead and order your MMVMCP tickets. Better safe than sorry. If your going to do a character meal(s), do chef mickey's at the contemp. That was such a blast. The food was great. Mickey waffles and they even have peanut butter and jelly pizza. Yummy.

UM if you do decide to attend the MMVMCP, call right after you order the tickets and get ps for LTT (LIberty Tree Tavern). It's another charcter meal. It is inside MK. Ask for a time like at 5 or so. At the MMVMCP they close the park to everyone except those attending. You will be able to enjoy your dinner and when your done get ready to party until midnight.

Ohana's is really good. It's at the Poly. Kind of pricy, but you get all you can eat and you will eat.

Oh I heard that the Hoopty Doo Review, is wild. Usually it's booked, but if you call now you might get in. And afterwards there is a hayride. How much fun would it be for you to ride at night, see some lights, cold air, and just enjoy Disney?

This is our first time to WL and we are going to try Whispering Canyon. I think you might have to make a ps for that as well.

We cannot wait and I hoped I have helped. To bad we will miss each other by 2 days. WE could have said hi, but we will tell Mickey and all his friends that you are coming.

I would definitely do MVMCP - preferably on a week night. It might be a little less crowded! I would think that the earlier in the week you went might be better. Not sure where we'll be eating at on the night we go - we tried LTT before MNSSHP last year! It was pretty good!

I would also suggest doing the Candlelight Processional at Epcot, and getting the dinner package, if you were going to eat at a World Showcase restaurant anyway. My family loves this show; we usually eat first, then see the show, then Illuminations!

Be sure to resort hop and see the Christmas decorations! The tree at the Grand Floridian is unbelievable! And there is a gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian too!

My family enjoys the Crystal Palace at MK - its got the Winnie the Pooh characters!

The Osborne Lights at MGM is also really good to see! When you check in at WL, they'll give you a list of what's going on at the hotel too!

You may want to check into having a basket delivered to the room for your son. I had Disney Florist deliver a basket for my DD last Oct and the card was signed "Mickey and Friends". She loved the idea that Mickey would send her so much stuff (the basket included a disposable camera, autograph book & pen, stickers, stuffed Mickey, some snacks, and a balloon) It was waiting for us in the room when we got back from Downtown Disney on our first night! Maybe you could try for a "Christmas" theme to your basket!

Have a great trip! By the way, we'll probably be at WL Dec 8-12; so we'll just miss you too!

I forgot to mention resort hopping. Since we are arriving on a sat. that is what we are going to do the first part of the day. Since the parks will be closing earlier and we will have a rental car, each day we could resort hop and take some pictures and really soak it in.
