1BR Availability

Hi there,

I have a specific question...

What have been any of your experiences with the availability of a 1BR at any location 2 months out? We're going Oct 9 -14th and are going to close on our resale contract this week and want to use our new points for a 1BR. But since we aren't official members yet, I can't check availability. Do you think it will be easy to get a 1BR anywhere at that time? Thanks for your thoughts.

If you can be flexible about which DVC resort to stay in and exact dates (and sometimes villa size) you have a pretty good shot of getting something at one of the DVC resorts for that time. BWV's and BCV's will be the hardest to get as they are closest to Epcot and Food and Wine festival will be going on. Oct./Nov. is a very popular time of year for DVC members to visit and many of us book our home resorts 11mos out for that time of year. I've read a few posts already that said some weeks in Oct. are already booked solid. If you call and cannot get what you're looking for many have had luck with waitlisting though.
