$199 GPS on amazon.com?

I just bought a $199 GPS by Magellan on Amazon.com. I saved $350!

Gotta love bargains!

Agreed. The first page or so is full of 'so-so' reviews, but there are some better ones, the more you read.

For me, it's eyes wide open, it's a decent price, and we can see if we like the entire concept well enough to invest some more money in a better system in a few years.

Off to tell my cousin about this. She does catering in the sticks of N.J. & is forever getting lost on the way to the parties. she's been wanting a GPS system, but they've been way too expensive.

I actually own the Magellan 360, I paid a lot more than $199, I have used it 3 times and on my last trip it seemed to have a short. My DH figured out it as the point where you plug in the car adapter. The prong is loose. So I am not thrilled and it is no longer under warranty.

There were definitely things about the Magellan I didn't like, but for $199 it was okay.

Yeah it's a great system to start off on I figure and I'm not paying $700 for a GPS. The bf has been wanting one and I think this will be good for now and then he can always get a better GPS in a few years.
