1900 PF or Aker. in Epcot

I am only going to Epcot for 1 day ( i think) and we do not have hop passes. I am debating between 1900 or Aker. in Epcot. If it was not for Teppano Edu I would prob. go with Aker. But I can't decide if i should eat at Tep. Ed and have princess dinner at 1900 or skip Tep Ed. and do Aker. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a DD 5 and DS7.

I am not too worried about the food, I am more concern about which characters they would enjoy the most. My DD is just getting into princesses and does not have a favorite at this point.

Dinner at 1900 PF features Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Drizella, and Anastasia. So really only one princess. We had dinner here last month and the food was very good and my DD4 loved it. She thought the step sisters were very funny. We also had lunch at Akershus which featured Belle in her yellow ball gown, Aurora, Jasmine, Cinderella, and Ariel. My DD also loved this meal -not so much for the food but more so for the number of princesses she got to meet. So if your goal is to see lots of princesses then you definitely want to go to Akershus. If you really want to eat at Teppan Edo and only have one day in Epcot, you could always schedule Akershus for breakfast or lunch and then Teppan Edo for dinner.

We did 1900 PF in Jan and the characters were a blast but the food was horrible. Then we did the Princess Breakfast and it was awesome! Great food and great characters. My 6 year old niece loved the Norway breakfast more than 1900 PF

We enjoy both 1900 Park Fare and Akershus (with a bit of a preference toward Akershus because of the food). My DS5 prefers 1900 Park Fare. He is still young enough to think that the princesses are fun, but he likes that 1900 Park fare is not just princesses. He likes to see prince charming and the step sisters. He had a lot of fun with Anastasia the last time that we were there and he has requested that we go there again. If you son is anything like mine, he may prefer this. The step sisters can be a real hoot!

I preferred Akershus both for the food and the characters. The 1900 PF food was okay, the strawberry soup and mashed potatoes were my favorites. The characters seemed very rushed on the night we were there. The only one who spent any time with us was Drizella. She was great.

We had lunch at Akershus and all the characters were more friendly, less rushed, and I liked the food better.

I don't think either is really a bad choice though. If you really want to go to Teppan Edo then I'd choose 1900 PF, since that seems to fit better with your plans. Just be aware that Cinderella is the only princess there, along with her stepmother and stepsisters, and of course her prince.

If she doesn't have a favorite princess, then I would do Akershus. She will see 5 of them. At 1900 it's only Cinderella.

Definitely another vote for akershus. The interaction with the characters is great, the food well cooked. Personally we prefer the breakfast to the dinner but wouldn't return to 1900 pF

thanks so much for all the replies. I have not thought about doing 2 TS in one day. That may be a possibility. I still have not decided, but you all gave me some things to think about. DECISIONS DECISIONS!
