We have a PS at 1900 Park Fare for a princess dinner. If you have eaten there, can you tell me what they have to offer? I am a very picky eater. Did you enjoy the meal? How is the character interaction?
Thanks!

We dined there with our daughters last November. It was a nice meal, not spectacular, but quite nice. The food was tasty and some dishes were elegant. What stood out the most, food-wise-for me was the fabulous chilled strawberry soup. The character interaction was fairly brief but made extra special by Prince Charming who called our daughters "Princesses" and twirled them around the room. He was the highlight of the event when we'd anticipated it would have been the star, Cinderella, who'd remain forefront in our memories. Enjoy your trip!

We make 1900 Park Fare a must do every year. We love the food and we always have great char. interaction every time. Often they come by more than once.

Another thumbs up for 1900 Park Fare. We have been there twice for dinner and had a great time both times. The food is good, pleny of salads, steamed shrimp, pasta, veggies, and the meat carving station. I agree with the other poster about Prince Charming. He is always the highlight of the meal. The character interaction has always been good, the mice and prince usually come around multiple times but we've only had Cinderella come by once both times. The characters do take their time at each table though and never seem rushed. The Fairy Godmother is out in the lobby and you can go see her as much as you'd like. I think 1900 Park Fare is one of the better character meals. The breakfast is great as well.

I just took my 6 yr old dd there this past Thursday night. We waited over a 1/2 hr for our seating (it was just the 2 of us).

IMHO I didn't think it was all that great and I wasn't too impressed. She got to see the characters, Cinderella, Prince Charming, Perla and Suzy during dinner and Fairy Godmother in the lobby. But I can think of SO many other places I would have rather have eaten at for the money. I was surprised to see the adult price is now $27.99 which is awfully high for what they have. Many of the selections were Italian although there was also prime rib choice and some other type of selections.

The kids selections were ok and the desserts were nothing to write home about. I probably won't return to this dinner since we can see Cinderella and her mice at MK. I just wanted to try it.

If you're a picky eater I would keep with a restaurant that has a regular menu. If you're not going here for the characters there are so many other places I would consider first.

My family discovered 1900 Park Fare by accident about 10 years ago and we've been going every visit since. It is the BEST character dinner we've ever been to and we've been to several. The food is great with lots of choices not only for picky diners (and I happen to be one) but also for kids. There are a lot of expensive and gourmet dishes as well. My mother and sister salivate just thinking about the prime rib! And compared to many of the character dinners which have a single dessert offering, they have a dessert buffet with lots of choices from key lime pie and tortes to chocolate covered rice krispie treats for the kids.

It should be even better now with the Princess theme and there's just something special about the Grand Floridian atmosphere. Do go, I'm sure you'll love it!

I just want to say that although I've never had dinner at 1900 PF, I've had breakfast and it is one of my favorites for many reasons. The atmosphere, the characters, the food, the atmosphere....LOL I really love it here. It is a place I really look forward to now! In fact, we've done CRT for breakfast and I'd pick 1900PF anyday over CRT! :)

We loved it!! We went in Sept with a party of 16. Some of them being picky eaters and none of them had any trouble finding something that they liked. The 6 kids in our party also loved the food.

The character interaction was wonderful! They visited about 3 times each!

Just being in the GF and the atmosphere of 1900 is worth it in itself!!

Enjoy!

We were there a couple weeks ago for dinner. We weren't terribly impressed with the food, but it was ok. The characters were pretty good, we saw prince Charming twice, one of the mice (Suzy I think) twice, Perla once, and Cinderella once. She spent a fair amount of time at our table, we had two boys, and she talked to the older one (3 years) for a minute or so.

We probably won't do it again, it just wasn't what we were looking for. They did have a kids buffet area, I think it was mac & cheese, hamburgers, pizza, etc.

Wish I could tell you but mine got canceled because of Hurricane Jeanne.
