Which has better food in your opinion for breakfast???

Which has a better overall experience??

So, if you had to choose............

thanks:)

We did 1900 for dinner and Crystal Palace for lunch, so I can't really tell you about breakfast food, but... we were SO disappointed with 1900 Park Fare. The menu was limited, and the characters were in such a rush. The service was not as good as we experieced elsewhere on property, and the whole meal just seemed kinda chaotic and missing the usual warm and welcome feeling you get at Disney. Crystal Palace wasn't our favorite character meal, but definitely one we would do again. There was a HUGE selection of food, the characters were really friendly, and service was wonderful.

I would do Crystal Palace and this is my reason because if you get the first seating which is 8 am you enter the Magic Kingdom before it opens and will have a chance to get great family pics in front of the castle why it is not a mob scene. Plus there food there is very good!

We much preferred Crystal Palace. The food was better, and the character interaction was MUCH better. Also, we liked the atmosphere at the CP better.

We did like 1900 PF, but it is not our favourite. We like CP, Boma, and Cape May Cafe the best! :goodvibes

We went to Crystal Palace twice on our last trip, breakfast was really great and so was dinner. The character interaction at breakfast was longer than some of the others.

Thank you for your responses!! See, we have both booked in April and going over our schedule I really need to cancel one. I will be sure to post my cancellation which will probably be 1900 PF. I was a little selfish in making the ADR there because I really wanted to have a good reason to go to the GF:rolleyes: but I guess we can always check it out during some free time.

Our ADR at CP is at 8:25 not on a EMH morning. How early will they let us through with that reservation time?? The park will open at 8:00.

Thanks again for reassuring me not to let my kids miss out on the CP experience!!

We have done both 1900 and CP for breakfast and IMHO and that of the kids there is no comparison. 1900 has by far the better food and interaction and that is the one we always return to. It was for us miles ahead of CP. We did CP for dinner and that was nice but very busy and noisy. The food choices at CP for dinner were excellent.

Ditto this. We love the CP and as stated by a poster above if you go early you can get a great shot of the family in front of the Castle with no mob scene in front of you.

Great food, great staff, great character interaction....we had a great time overall!!

I can't say for sure, but I do know that every thread I've read that the GF is the better place to go for food and interaction with the characters, the key to getting this is to book after the big crowd is gone, we are doing a brunch so my princess will be able to see the characters better and spend all the time she wants to be there. I know that the crowds won't be there and we were almost garanteed more time with characters. Something to think about, I'm sure there are perks either way, but I'm like the gal who was inquiring, I really wanted to experience GF, and my daughter wanted to see Cinderella. I told her about the castle and this and she actually picked GF because she knew she would have more time and better food choices, I promised her we would see the castle anyway. Either way, we are both getting what we want!;)

We have been to CP many many times and never had a bad meal (breakfast or dinner).

We went to 1900 Park once and the food was horrible...maybe we made the mistake of going at 10:30 but the place was super packed and loud as anything, the characters spent all of 5 seconds with us and the food was old and dried out. The only good thing was the strawberry soup

We have had breakfast at both and enjoyed both. However, breakfast at CP is a "must" now for each trip. The deep fried french toast and cheese potatoes are fabulous! Also, getting that first reservation of the day at 8:05 a.m. when the park is empty is wonderful. You will get some great photos of the castle on an empty Main St.

We enjoyed the food and atmosphere at both but it was nice to get into MK early and have our picture taken in front of the castle with no one else in it. I guess your choice might depend on which characters you would like to see...I love Eyeore so my preference would be CP.
