1900 Park Fare dinner

We were there Dec. 11, before we headed over to MK for the Christmas party. As far as entertaining goes, this was the best character meal because they really put on a show. We were seated near the door that the characters enter from and our waiter warned us to run to our table when we heard them being announced because we would be the second or third table they came to, as long as we were sitting there. We did have the prince and a couple others came back to us on their way to the front section of the restaurant. My eight year old son isn't too much into any of the lady characters but when the stepmother came up to us and told him to 'Stand up ... come here', he did what he was told immediately!

There was enough food for my kids to eat and I thought there was enough variety, without anything being too 'weird'.

My 16 yr old son learned a valuable lesson at the dinner. He was trying to be cool and made several remarks... being emo. And madame tremaine and the sisters jumped on him ALL night. They actually made a point to come back to him between tables and tease him mercilessly. My side hurt for hours and my vision was blurred from the tears I was laughing so hard.

IMHO the food here is awful, we had two of the worst meals ever at 1900 PF - never again.

although as a family we really enjoyed the entertainment the sisters and stepmother were hilarious but my DS did find himself the butt of the jokes. First time up one of the sisters asked him if he had a girlfriend - 'no' says he to which she screams across the restaurant 'I've found one who's free and single - I win I win'. Poor lad he was mortified (we have never laughed so much in our lives).

Second time he (and DH) were wearing Mickey Stickers they had been given at MK earlier in the day. Lady Tremaine screamed at DS 'rodent rodent this person has brought mice into the restaurant'. Just mildly embarassed this time.

Go for the entertainment if your DS is brave but NEVER NEVER NEVER choose to eat there. Although I'm sure others will disagree.
