They updated my scedule, and I have about 40 hours in the next month. (None gold rush days mind you) but hey, at least I have some hours. My SSM is Soraya as well. She has called me a couple of times, IMed me and seems to be pretty prompt with her emails. I really hope that things work out for the rest of our DIS new hires. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi Everybody,

Just checking in...My DH is still home and we have been at the hospital with my FIL in ICU for the last 2 weeks. I contacted my SSM, she had me scheduled for days I wouldn't be able to work. Finally all is straightened out and I go back to work on Tues and I am scheduled thru the 27th a total of 86 hours. A few of the gold rush days but mostly other days. Kinda wacky. I'm sorry you are all having so much trouble. I find it very difficult that everything is done thru IM & email, I would love a real person & real phone #. When I found out about my FIL's accident I emailed my mentor, trainer Bibi & my supposed SSM with no response for days. I finally got a response and my schedule was fixed. At that point I didn't care if I was fired or not...I had family things to take care of and if they didn't want to respond taghts THEIR problem. So we will see!

I did want to mention I got my 2nd check today - it was direct deposited in my acct. Just a heads up. If you are waiting for your 1st check it usually comes via mail and mine took 4 days from NY to TX.

Nicole and Tim do you mind telling me when your first shift is? I just have a bad feeling about still not having any hours but don't want to keep bugging the SSM. If your hours start soon, then I know to keep bugging.

Zurgswife I'd be interetsed in which company you are working for. I applied with LiveOps but they are not hiring in NY.

I received my first paycheck today for our first week of training. It is missing the extra $3/hour incentive pay they said we would get. Did this happen to anyone else?

Incentive pay is a pay period behind. You will get it in your next pay check.

Hooray, I'm hoping my check comes today as well. We had too much fun shopping at WDW this week and so I'm in need of it for the car payment...lol. Priorities, right? =o)

Talked to scheduling today, hopefully it will be fixed tonight or tomorrow. They said they never got my form although I know I had two confirmations but who would have thought to save them, not me... too much else was going on in our class.

I still havent gotten mine. I am guessing that I wont start until next week because I did not submit availablity on Friday, Saturday, And Sundays.

As of today at 5pm (my time) there was nothing. I checked it 3 times today, so that I wont be checking again until Sunday.

Glad to hear it tim. What kind of hours did they give you? Lots or little? I am glad that they finnally updated my hours. But still disapointed in the amt. of hours that I got. Only 40 or so for the month.
