1800 Flowers Work At Home Opportunity (Select States)

I have had a mixture of sales, csi and web support. On Saturday the majority were web support. On Friday night there were quite a few prank calls too.
 
what is web support??? LOL

When someone is trying to place an order on the web and is running into issues. You will hear the whisper "web support" in your ear before the call is there. Saturday the website was very slow so we had a lot of these calls. Most of the time I ended up just placing the order for them.
 
I sent an email to Linda again and IM'd BiBi to ask if she knew when I might get one, etc. Got it today at 11:50am. Funny thing is they had me scheduled to work last night but I didn't get it till this morning, oh well. I'm working tonight 10pm till tomorrow at 12 noon.

Needless to say in just a few I'm off to catch some ZZZ's before work tonight.

I got an email addressed to the team telling us to check pipkins daily because they are still updating MDAY hours. I have a schedule through June 5th but I guess more hours can be added this week.

I'm trying to request 2 days off in June and pipkins keeps giving me an error message so I guess that will be my fun tomorrow, dealing with that.

Started my first shift at 10pm and working till 10am...long night...lol. So far everything seems to be going well, I got my avaya fixed so I hear the beep now, yahoo!

Anyone else still working tonight?
 
I SHOULD be happy. But I am irate! At the VERY last min. AND I DO MEAN VERY last min. They scheduled me for OVER 85 hours in ONE WEEK! I am glad for the hours, as I know they will taper off soon. But I am up tonight ALL NIGHT LONG,(not the hours I requested) and I am working 12am-10am pretty much all week, until Thursday when I switch from 6am-4pm, for a few days then go back to 12am-10am. I am going to be SO TIRED THis week. Again, glad for the hours..but i STILL have no check and I am tired...so whine whine whine right..lol

On Sunday I looked at my schedule and noticed that it said that I was off on Monday. (Of course I did not get a schedule until Late late Friday night or saturday morning). I doubled checked it on Sunday night just to make sure.

Well last night I was AT MY PARENTS HOUSE (NOT MINE!!!!!!!!!!) and I checked pipkin so that I could doublel check my schedule for Tuesday and Low and BEHOLD I was on the schedule from 5-10 (something like that). I was outraged. Of course at that time It was like 7:30pm and again I was not at home. THEN they have me slated to work on Friday and Saturday and Bibi email that lbeaman and told her to EXEMPT me from this holiday because of my surgery I am having on Friday. The hours are 5-1am (ARE THEY CRAZY). The dr said that I would need the weekend to recoup and yet they put me on there anyway even AFTER Bibi told them not to. I know that its more than likely a mix-up but still I did not work on last night.

I did not get the email that the previous poster got about checking pipkins everyday. Needless to say I missed last night and I email my sup and bibi to tell them what happened (of course I have heard nothing as of this morning.)

I do not know how this will effect me but at this point I really dont care. I have never worked for a business this unorganized. I know that they are just starting this division but surely communication could be better at the least.

Ok, I now feel better. By tonight we will see. If I dont work again that is fine as well. I really wanted the hours leafing up to Thursday (which by the way I have to work from 5-1am and I work all day as a school librarian at a middle school all day until 3:45 then have ot rush home and get on eht phone until 1 am then get up at 5 am for my surgery (this is insane). hopefully they will have it fixed we will see..

That is crazy! Someone needs to take control of the scheduling department. I remember the guy who trained us on the scheduling told us there were only a couple of them and tons of at home workers...seems like they should hire some more scheduling staff!
I worked last night from 5-11. It wasn't that bad but I was trying to follow the csi guidelines and then one of the ssm's in the chat room was telling me to do something different than what the laminated copy thing said to do...sigh....I guess I'll figure this all out be the end of this week after working so many hours LOL. I emailed my sup and Bibi 2wice and I have not gotten ONE response in the least. I do not know if I am supposed to work tonight, or if I got in trouble or nothing.

Should I go on and work even though they have not contacted me with an answer? Or should I just wait until I hear something from them?? I may be fired so if I work then there is no need for me to work tonight and beyond. The issue of not answering me is really getting to me.

This is outrageus !!!! :headache:
 
Oh I am in the same situation. I am sitting here wondering what to do. I live in AZ and we are mountain time zone but we dont switch daylight savings time so currently we are 3 hours behind EST. Well I put my availability in for the 3 hour difference but they inputted it for the 2 hour difference. Most of the time it doesnt matter but I scheduled myself for 2 hours while dd is in school. Because they messed up the time change then I am really scheduled to work when I have to pick her up. I emailed bibi and lbeaman on Friday twice and once each yesterday. All I finally got this afternoon was an email from lbeaman that said "we are working on it" :confused3 Um ok I am supposed to start in 10 minutes but my schedule says 1 hour from now? What am I supposed to do now?

PLUS, we didnt get to take any live calls in training and I feel totally unprepared for taking any kind of orders. We only did 2 mock orders and 1 was severely botched. :sad2: I'm afraid I am going to mess up everyones order that calls!

They seem so unorganized it's frustrating.
 
I finally got a response and she said to go on and work tonight and my normal schedule. But is this worth it?????

How can I work hours that I never requested adn then they awnt me to work on Thursday from 5pm -1am knowing that I am having surgery the next day. Bibi said that they will try to fix it bu tI am in the middle of wondering if this is worth my time.

I never took a a call myself during training, so I am wondering if I will totally mess up. I am supposed to work at 6pm so we will see. I am thinking that I will get on until the break and if I am not feeling it, that is it.

THis is soooo upsetting to me
 
For those of you who worked an overnight shift, did you get many calls? I work my first overnight shift tonight and I'm on now as well and still have not had a call! :confused3 I'm getting anxious to take my first one.

Their scheduling system and communication really are appalling. I also think we needed more service training. I was looking at the queues last night and was really lost on what to do.

Good luck on your surgery and I really doublt they will fire you over the schedule mishap since it is their fault.

4 calls the whole time???? I havent taken not one call yet and I think that I am starting with service tonight in a few minutes. I haven o idea what I am doing. I figure If I mess up then all will be well either way. they worst that can happen is that they can call back and talk to someone who knows what they are doing.....

We will see how it goes until 7:30. If i can get through it I will press on if not.... Then...... we will see.... Hopefully they will make the necessary changes to my schedule.
