Hey, DISers!

I know there was an announcement made recently about opening the window up to 180 days again. I've been kinda out of the loop the last few weeks, though.

So when does it open up again? We're going in April. I don't want to miss my chance if it's changing soon.

Thanks!

Really? In the middle of the month. That seems like an odd time for them to switch. Which will be wild because that would be 180 days before the last few days of our trip.

So, would I be able to make ressies for the whole trip then? Probably arriving on April 11. I really wish it would open up a week earlier.:rotfl2:

I'm 99% sure that the ADR system goes back to the 180 days on October 27!

So, anyone who has reservations to book that are more than 90 days out but less than 180 will be trying to book on that same day?:confused3

I'm sensing a disaster. Computer crashes, waits for HOURS, ugh. I only have a couple ressies that I really, REALLY want. Thankfully they're not the usually fought over CRT or CM.

Disney Food Blog says "It’s time to start thinking about your food 6 months in advance again, my friends! It’s being widely reported that, starting October 27th, 2009, Disney Dining reservations can be booked 180 days in advance of your check-in date."

I really wish they would consider a phased-in approach of going back to 180 days. Maybe only allowing 180 days booking for all ressies that will be 180 days as of Oct. 27 which would be April 24.

That way there is no mad rush on the 27th for all those people who need to book ressies from Jan 24 to April 24. So if your trip is on Feb 15, you still have the 90 days window, but if your trip is May 1 you have the 180 day window. That way on January 24 everyone is now back to 180 days. October 27th is going to be a painful day for a lot of people and their online ressie system.

10/27, though there are a few comments from a CM on the Rumors board who expects it to come earlier based on overtime schedules and such. I'm selfishly hoping the 10/27 date holds, because that is a few days after I book ADRs for our January trip.

I've never booked and ADR that far out before, but I notice it's currently 90+10 if you are staying on site, when it returns to 180 days at the end of oct do you still get the +10 days if staying on site.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure it was 180+10 for onsite guests before they changed it to 90+10, so hopefully it just goes back to "normal."

Of course, they seem to like to change things often and keep it confusing, so who knows!

I would like to hear some sort of confirmation on that though because I will be one of the unlucky reservers who will be backing tracking. :sad2:

I am so glad I popped over to the restaurant board and saw this! I had called the WDW Travel Co. and made a change to my April ressie. I had taken the time to count back 90 days from our arrival and planned to get up bright and early one morning in Jan. Then the agent told me I could book on Oct. 27th. I was confused, but didn't ask for an explanation!

Thanks, Dis-ers!!!

I can't believe there will be so many ppl making ADRs on Oct. 27. I'm starting to stress already. I don't think I'll even expect to get them done.:lmao:

Seriously, I feel bad for whoever would've been making 90 day ressies on the 27th...

Me too!

I am consumed with making our ADR's for this coming December and now I need to get a jump start for summer! Asked my girls where they would like to dine this summer and they think I've gone crazy! :-)
