180+10 question

I am soo excited, I am a week away from being able to book my ADR's! The problem is that now I am not sure which day I should be calling. My arrival day is Oct 6 which if you use the calculator April 9 is 180 days. I already made a reservation for Hoop De Doo on the night our arrival so my first reservation will actually be made for Oct 7. If I call and ask for Oct 7 are they going to say I am calling too early? I know technically I can book ten days beyond because I am staying on property. Will it be as easy as them asking if I am staying on property then they will let me book?

If your arrival date is 180 days out you can make your ADR's.

Also if there is a particular time wanted you might need to wait for that days 180 day mark. ie I wanted CRT but I wanted to be in the park before it opened so I needed something 8 -8:30. When I used 180 +10 the only seating available was 10:10. But on the 180 day mark of the day I wanted they opened up all the seating and I got 8:10.

Hi! Thanks so much for the information. The only day that was available for CRT when I called this morning was Oct. 5 at 9:55AM. The dining CM informed me the same information you did. I think I'll be calling on the exact 180 day mark in hopes of getting a 8:30 to 9:00AM time. I really wanted to get into the park before it opened with my DD dressed up. We did it in Oct. 2004 and it was the absolute best!

Hi! You can still call on Apr 9 to make your ADRs for the week. I had to do the same thing this morning. I'm arriving on Sept 30, but needed ADRs for Oct.1 and on. They will look up your resort reservation, so have that handy. It was very easy and I got everything and every time I wanted except CRT. Good luck to you!

You can call 180 days out and book your adrs for your full 10 day package so you are actually booking the last day on your package 190 days out. Is that correct? Cause I saw some people saying you could call 190 days before your first day and that didn't make since to me.

Hi! My 180th day back from my arrival is April 3, which is today. I arrive on 30Sept and leave on 08Oct. When I called today I was able to book 30Sept ADRS all the way through 08Oct ADRS. The plus 10 is beyond the original 180 day mark of your first day there. So it would be 180 to 170 days before your arrival. It's just more convenient for resort guests. People outside the park have to call and make ADRS 180 days out everyday for their length of stay. It's kind of confusing at first, I know. I originally thought that I could book my ADRS 190 days prior to arrival as well! I hope I didn't confuse you more.

I called this morning to make all of mine and was able to only make them up until Sep. 30th, I have to wait for the rest for the next few days!

WAHMto5, when is your arrival date? Sometimes you get different answers from different Disney dining CMs. Are you arriving on Sept. 30th or before that? You should be able to make your reservations 10 days beyond that.

Thanks, that is what I thought but then when someone said they could make there reservations 190 days out on another post it confused me.

I honestly didn't realize getting CRT might still be soo difficult. I thought with the new changes it was a little easier. Guess that is the first one I will ask for and see where it gets me then keep calling if necessary. Thanks soo much for all the info, I have my dialing fingers ready for Sunday!

I absolutely LOVE the new 180+10!!! I called today for 10/3-10/9 & got every ADR I wanted! Including CRT on 10/9 at 8:30 !!! I am beyond thrilled! We literally just decided today to go back again on an all girls trip!

Sorry if I am not "getting it", but are on property resort guests given an extra 10 days before the 180 window? The PS calculator didn't account for that (that I noticed). Thank you!

Hi kj2mom! I think that you'll make out fine! Don't worry if when you call Sunday you don't get the desired CRT time for the day you want. I didn't either on my 180th day mark. I got a 9:55AM on a Thursday, which was not at all what I wanted. The CM told me to call back the next day, because they would be opening up more tables for Oct. 1. I called and got my choice of times! I booked an 8:25AM ADR for Oct. 2! They will definately open up more tables on the 180 mark from the actual day you want it. I'm sending some pixie dust your way!

I am not looking at my calculator but I do believe mine did adjust for my 180 + 10. My understanding is if you are staying on property you can call to make your ADR's 180 days from the date of check in and instead of having to call each day to get your reservations you can book up to 10 days of your vacation during the one call on the 180 day mark from the first day. I am checking in on Oct 6 and I believe my calculator says April 9 for all of my reservations I put on there except the specialty cruises that I have to wait for a 90 day window.

Hi! The calculator gives you the right day, the 180th day before your day of arrival. Resort guests can book there 1st day ADRS plus all there ADRS up to 10 days after that.
