I am going to try and belt out the rest of my days in quick succession. Day 8 was always going to be liesurely as we had been on on such a "big" day yesterday and we had planned a parkless day again. When we visited new york a few years back, leander had said how she would have loved to go on a helicopter ride but the weather had been against us, so we said we would try out the one by the model train musuem on i-drive. It was a good move as we did the trip that took in disney and seaworld and it was quite an experience seeing all these familiar sights with your own eyes. As we had plenty of spare time, we came back and did some laundry and phoned our daughter to see if everything was ok at home . We went for lunch at chillis where i sailed against the wind and had cajun chicken pasta and leander tried the pulled-pork sandwich and fries and it was very good. From there we caught the i-ride trolley up to belz and got a few things but it was so flaming hot. We had to come back and get showered and then went down to friendlys were we had one of the best experiences for food, the waiter was a nice bloke, the atmosphere was nice and the food was simple but vey successful with me having bbq and buffalo chicken tenders and leander having the same but plain chicken. There was ice-cream included in the price so i stuck my head in a bucket of maple walnut and chocolate almond while leander showed far more decorum with cookie dough and strawberry. We just strolled back and got a few items in walgreens, (strongbow) As we were going on the city tour with gator tours the next day, we decide to call it a day a little earlier
