that he doesn't think early morning breakfasts will suit him. What do I do now? I wanted and got an 8:15 for Crystal palace on a non-EE day, so we can get in before opening and be done right around opening. He wants me to make it for around 10? I don't really want to do that, for the reasons I mentioned. What should I do?

The other early ones we have are:

Donald's Breakfastasaurus at 8:20, which I wouldn't care to move later, non-EE day.

Princess Storybook Breakfast 8:40, can't move that one anyway, it's full.

and Chef Mickey's at 8:50, which may or may not be considered too early. This one I could make a dinner, but I don't know what day.

I know he wants to sleep in on vacation, but we're taking our 3-yo and 1-yo DS's, so it's not like we'll be sleeping in anyway. Should I even try to move them, or just tell him it's too late?

Thanks for letting me vent!

Steph

Look for a new husband! (Sadly, I am not available. :( )

Seriously, keep two or three of the PSes. If the day comes and he'd rather sleep in, let him sleep and take the boys yourself. Unless he's completely shameless, he'll shape up pretty quick.

Personnally, I would keep the early ps's with the kids their age. They will be up early probably anyway. This way you go eat, do some rides etc at theme park and when they get tired go back to resort for nap. If you wait until 10:00, you will have to have fed them something by then. Will they sit there to eat that late? I don't think mine would (ages 4 and 18 mos). That's my opnion, hope it helps. Good luck.

you may want to keep in mind that....while some kids (mine ;) normally got up early, during vacation she would usually sleep late in the AM. We would then go out for a few hours, do lunch etc. then come back for rest after which she would be raring to go till at least 10 that night. Kim

Take the kids and let him fend for his own breaky-meet up with him later.

Well, I don't know about the sleeping in - it is WDW after all & everyone will be excited & raring to go. Little ones don't get sleeping in- they wake up when they wake up. As for the late breakfasts however, this worked well for my family when my youngest dd was little. She always woke up starving - we fed her something in the room ( Pop-tarts, bagels, cold cereal ) and then had a bigger, healthier breakfast later. Snack for the kiddos mid-afternoon and then a nice sit-down dinner. This saved us time waiting in restaurants & allowed us to really hit the parks earlier while the crowds were still light. Can't change PSB if you've got it though. We've gotten PS's for Crystal Palace on very short notice though. Good Luck! Maybe your DH will come around when those little one's are up & at 'em early & he sees the excitement on those little faces.

Let him sleep in..you and the kids go eat breakfast...and have him meet you after the park opens. Vacation is for everyone afterall.

Your breakfast times sound excellent to me. And..I bet..after he misses the first breakfast..lol..he will be up and ready to go before you are the next morning...lol.

Move Chef Mickey's, if possible, to a later breakfast time, let it be brunch, since it's not critical to a touring plan, make him feel like he "won" something and keep the others?
