We did a 5 night last time. My kids said no more...any future cruises must be longer. My kids wanted a longer cruise, I wanted a Halloween cruise, hubby wanted to go back to Grand Cayman (we honeymooned there) and my oldest wanted to explore a new ship so this took care of all requests at once!!

I agree with the kids.....love the longer cruises. I usually book October, but not necessarily because it's a Halloween cruise, just because the weather is usually pretty good and the prices are usually better. Still need to explore the Fantasy more. Even 7 days isn't always enough to do that. But just in general, I love being on the ship and looking out over the water.

Just wanted to say hello and see how everyone is doing. My DD & I are counting down our days to our trip to WDW next month. Although we are also excited about the cruise next year, we are extremely excited about visiting the "Mouse" really soon, and celebrating my Birthday while we are there.

Kate! Glad you and your husband will be joining us. I have never tried to keep a cruise or a trip to WDW a secret. I just get too excited and just have to talk about it. Good luck!

Just booked this cruise we are Ewen (granddad) Margaret (Gran) our son David 40 our Dear Daughter in Law Carol 38 our dgd Kirsty 7 when we cruise our dgs Ewan 4 at time of cruise and dgd 2 at time of cruise.We grandparents have cruised on Fantasy and Magic but a first for other family members, sooo looking forward to meeting everyone..

Same here.....can't wait to get to know everyone. And we have quite some time to do that.

Not sure if I posted it here yet (it's on FB), but we are planning a Meet-n-Greet on boarding day. Tentative meeting time is 2:30pm, but is subject to change. Also, we don't have a particular meeting place yet. Tigerlily878 has suggested that we reserve D Lounge thru DCL. She will check on this when our cruise gets closer. If that is not available, on my last Fantasy cruise we used the Vista Cafe area. It's on Deck 4 and has a real nice area with chairs and sofas, and room for quite a few people to mingle. It was really nice. The Meet-n-Greet doesn't usually last very long. Just a nice way to actually meet up with everyone we have been "talking" to before the cruise.

MissyandDan916. I answered your PM. Yes, I was on the Oct. 12, 2013 Western Fantasy cruise along with my DD and Aunt. We had a blast. Hope you did too. This time it will only be myself and my DD. Not sure if I remember you two, but maybe once we meet again, I will remember. I attended the Meet the first day, but met so many people. Hope you will attend the Meet for this cruise.

Does anyone have any qualms with me canceling the Yahoo group?? I just don't really see us using this as much as we did in that past, since we are mostly using google docs and FB for sign ups...
