DD and I read this together and we were on the edge of our seats with excitement! How great that you did this!!

My favorite part? Aladdin's face! He was really into it and at his age, a lot of boys would feel "too cool" or "too grown up" to participate, but not our boy! He was so enjoying himself, really hanging tight with Idaho and his friends -- I just loved it!

Can't wait for more!!

Wow! I just caught up with your TR and boy does this special day look like fun!!! My boys LOVE Indiana Jones too..so I can only imagine! Do you mind me asking how much this special dream costs?...I can only imagine that too!

It was so much fun! I won't post the costs here because I keep hoping that I can talk our dear friends into posting (I try and try ). I don't want them to ever know the price because it was free to them and that's the only number I ever want them to think about. However, if you (or anyone else is interested) and you PM me, I don't mind sharing that way.

We were all SO excited. It really was like being on a 'real' adventure. Especially when Idaho would stop and look around for bad guys every so often.

NO. It's not your eyes. Nor can I blame the camera. It was me. I am torn up that the pictures came out so poorly. I just got so into enjoying the moment that I forgot to reset some of the settings I had been playing with while we sat on the beach. I could have smacked myself when I saw the pictures later on. I told dh that just means I need another dream day so that I can get better photographs next time.

It was by far the coolest surprise I have ever enjoyed! Other then finding out we were expecting the boys of course or getting engaged...but every other surprise pales. I am glad that you are enjoying hearing about it. It is a great joy for me to be able to relive my day of dreams over again in such great detail.

I know, he was SOOOOOOO into it! I was so excited! Poor little Stitch had a headache so his expression is not so nice. He didn't tell me about it until we were __________ (don't want to give anything away). If he would have told me sooner, I could have given him pain meds sooner and he would have felt better sooner. The poor little guy seems to be taking after me, early onset severe headaches. Poor thing.

Uh oh...I wouldn't want you to die before your WL stay! I guess that means I had better type an update this afternoon. Reality was better than dreams this day (other than moving inside for the meal part). I cannot speak highly enough about Disney's entertainment services or event services...they all rock!

Day 5...Even more dreams come true!

Okay...so we left off with Idaho Jones getting a note from Indiana Jones. The note was on very dirty old torn, wrinkled paper (so cool looking!). The first part of it read:

"Before you weigh anchor upon your fine ship
there's someone to wish you bon voyage on your trip"

He read that out loud and then he paused and looked around...

Adventurer Mickey Mouse!

Hyper ventilating, screaming, jumping, whooping...yep, pretty much all of that happened. However, it happened so fast, I have no idea who was doing what...in all honesty, it may all have been done by me.

There was a lot of hugging going on!

Adventurer Mickey was really "jungle Mickey" from DAK but his outfit totally looked like an Indiana Jones one! I loved that our group had 20 minutes of uninterrupted time with the main mouse himself! He was fantastic!

I love those pictures of all of our 'Jones men' together (dh is there because the Little Prince couldn't stand up up by himself). But those boys had to quit hogging Mickey! HA HA HA.

Here's a shot of our entire crew!

Our Little Prince was in heaven! He got to spend many uninterrupted minutes playing with Mickey Mouse! While I know he will not remember this, it is sure to be a special time with our Little Prince that the rest of the family never forgets. At one point, Mickey even sat right down and played with him on the ground. It was truly a magical time for our littlest Mickey lover!

I think that our Little Prince spent about half of the time playing with Mickey himself. The rest of the time our other little adventurers took their turns hanging with the 'Big Cheese'.

I guess I had been taking too many pictures and not paying enough attention to Mickey Mouse. He pointed at me and then came over, pushed the camera aside and gave me a hug! That made me very happy!

I hate this picture of Stitch but it's the only one I have. You can totally see the pain on his face. After taking this picture, I stopped him and asked him if he was hurting. He said yes and tried not to cry. It broke my heart. Thankfully I had a prescription packet of pain killer for him (you just pop it open and drop the granules on to his tongue and it's instantly absorbed). I gave him that and told him to go sit on the bench under a shady tree. I hated that he missed out on part of the time with Mickey...but he really was in a great deal of pain and wasn't able to enjoy it as he otherwise would have anyway. That poor little guy. I was worried about him...but knew from prior experience (sadly, we have prior experience with head pain with him) that within 20 minutes (if we had caught the headache in time) he would be back to his normal self thanks to the medicine. A very nice CM gave him a cool washcloth for his head. I was very impressed with that. What a thoughtful CM (I have no idea who she was, we had so many CMs hovering around making sure the day went perfectly).

Dh went and took a seat with our poor little guy and I resumed the Little Prince/Mickey fest.

One final snuggle with our Little Prince.

And then Mickey mimed for Idaho to read us the rest of the message left by Indiana for our group.

"Your adventure's just beginning, it's time to embark
For a high seas dessert cruise in just a few moments you will depart"

Mickey then gave one last quick round of hugs and then he was off to go on his next adventure while we were off on ours!

Where would our next adventures lead us? That is another tale for another installment.

That's too bad about poor Stitch and his headaches. I sometimes get really bad headaches/migraines, and the only things that can cure them are painkillers, a cool, dark room, and time. At least you know what works for him tin order to stop them!

Aladdin...my goodness, he looks like a natural Indiana! If he doesn't already, I bet this surprise will have interested him in the theatre. I bet he'd be great working with younger kids! All the other kids looked SO happy and excited too; you know nothing can top this now!
