$1506.50 for AKL

My sis can get us two AKL rooms as a McDonald's employee for $1506.50 each, with 2 adults and 2 kids in each room, pool view, June 29th to July 5th.
Somehow this doesn't seem like much of a discount. Any opinions? I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a general public code.

Well, I just plugged in the dates on Disney's site and came up with $1806 each for rack rate, so you'd be saving $300 each. That's around 15%. AAA would only save you 10% for those same dates.

That is over $250 anight for six nights isn't it?

That is high. What happened to the $157 a night with a code or post card?

It seems like those days are long over. I guess the bes route would be an annual pass

I booked AKL-pool View for May, Florida Residents Rate and got it for $195 per night with tax. Is that good????

We haven't had a good code in while, so aren't we due? I was looking at the code history at mousesavers, and there are gaps of lousy codes and then YAY a nice public code where no AP or anything else is required. Hoping!

If the resorts keep filling up with no discounts offered there will be no reason to offer the discount. I think the code offers will be far and few between considering that some room types are booked solid for a year from now--it looks like we are all going to have to get used to the old booking habits--booking your resort/room type a year or so in advance and hoping for a discount to apply. I am amazed at how many people are having difficulty getting their room choice/resort choice when the vacation is 10 months away.
