150 point minimum buy in questions?

Can my minimum be met with two differnt contract? I'm thinking of 100 SSR and waitlisting for 75 BWV. Possible? only thru resale? Stupid Idea?

You can not do that through Disney, your initial purchase must be at least 150 points, all one contract. It is possible you could do this through resale, as two seprate contracts.

Only through resale - and not stupid, just need to be patient for these contracts to become available. Although - once you do own one of them, you could purchase the other directly from Disney as you can do add ons at 25 point increments directly from The Mouse.

I do not know of DVC allowing a new buyer to purchase a combination that totaled 150 pts. I do know of one instance where they allowed a current member to add on 150 total (2*75) and title it differently essentially creating a new contract.

We tried to do this when we bought, but according to our guide, the first contract through DVC must be 150 points. Then, as stated earlier, add-ons can be purchased starting with 25 points.

If you can find, pass ROFR & purchase a small resale; you can add on min. of 25 points cash basis @ whichever resort appeals to you (long as it's avail.) If you want financing thru DVC, it raises to a 50 point add-on.
