GUESS WHAT? It's clippie time! I got a new clippie, I got a new clippie!

The scale is 200, so that is .5lbs to ONEDERLAND!
INVITATION: There will be a ONEDERLAND party on the WISH board within a few day. Don't know the exact day, but everyone is invited. Please dress in clothes that make you feel good, bring along your dancing shoes, and some good healthy snacks. No Chips, here please! Also BYOW (bring your own water.

) No need to RSVP, just show up and have a good time!
Can you tell, I am happy? As far as the DL weight, I just renewed mine in Apr and lied. I said I was 200 (more like 218). That will be there for 4 years.

Unless, I go get a new one at the end of the year.
Agotta - Didn't mean to miss you yesterday. I guess everyone was posting at the same time. Congrats on the 6.5lbs. lost forever and kicked to the curb! Great come back after a bad day.
Patsfan - WELCOME!

You will love it here. The support makes a big difference in your success. Check out some of the journals and start one for yourself, it is a great way to be accountable.
Debra - I don't know if my DH could carry me or not after I get to my goal. He's going to be 51 this year and he just ain't as strong as he used to be.

On the plus side, I now weigh less than him.
Tara - Instead of going for a one piece swimsuit and hoping that it will fit in all the right places, why don't you try a tankini. These cover up well, look good, and you can buy them as seperates so you can have a smaller top that will fit.
TigerCheer - The BBQ sounds wonderful! Good job at keeping everything as healthy as can be without anyone noticing. Oh, I will bring a large bowl of fresh mixed fruit to the virtual BBQ!
Tracy - You will get there. How do we do it? One day at a time. When you slip, you don't dwell on it like you might have in the past, you just get back on plan. Each day is a new day and you must start over everyday, sometimes until it becomes a habit. We all have bad days (just not as bad as before), sure, but getting back on track afterwards is what makes the difference in the long run.
Tera - Congrats on getting into the size 8's. That must really feel good!
Sue - If you look at your day, you didn't really do that bad. You still had a salad, just not the one you planned. As far as the cookie, as long as you didn't eat the whole box you are ok. Sometimes, we have to give into a craving, because when we do, we will only have a little. When you don't, the craving gets worse and grows until you consume more than you ever intended. Just pick yourself up and move on. Treats are fine, just not all the time, 24/7.
Lacerta - When you are done with your yard, do you want to come do mine?
Kathy - Hope that you start feeling better soon and they can figure out what is wrong.
Lisa - Late night snacking can be a hard one to beat at first, but it does get easier. Try these tips: Go to bed earlier (it really helps with weight loss and snacking), eat a well balanced dinner at the same time every night, replace the late night snack with a hobby that occupies your time, drink a cup of herbal tea instead of having a snack. It takes time to figure out what will work for you. I used to eat late all the time, ice cream, crackers, cheese, anything that would help keep me awake. Now, I hardly ever eat after 7:30 and when I do, it is usually a late supper, not a snack, so it can be done. Now I go to bed earlier and actually am more productive during the day. It is amazing that you can change habits in a short time, but it takes time to do it, if that makes sense.
Maria - Congrats on the loss! Better yet, congrats on deciding with your DH what you will not order when you go out. That right there is a huge step towards success. Don't consider your dinner as a failure, consider it as a learning experience. A few months ago, DH and I decided that we would no longer order the OR from our favorite restaurant, just the fried mushrooms and fried cauliflower

Not great, but those are our favs and we only do it once a year, so we're getting rid of the extra that we really don't need or enjoy as much. Also, we are learning to split desserts alot more. It is the little things that add up to a huge success.
Well, I think I got everyone. Have a good weekend. As far as the picnics, reunions, etc. Only eat the healthy stuff AND the stuff that you get only once in a great while. If you are going to splurge, make sure that it is really worth it and you will have fun during the holiday!
