A Litle Pixie Dust said:Hello,
I would love to join! I have a long way to go but atleast I have started! I want to get to 158. I started WW in late April 2005 at 229.5. I am currently at 223.5 as of this morning.
I am going onthe DCL on 7/23/05 (yeah West Coast Cruise!) and my first goal is to be 210 by that date (got to start your goals somewhere!)
Have a great day!
positive thinking!
how's your exercise going? I'm so impressed with your losing ways!!! TigerCheer...Cedar point??? SOUNDS LIKE A BLAST!!! Never been but I hear they have awesome rides! Enjoy how those seats fit much looser now!
Kathy...how's it going in NY???? We've had a cool spell here and I should be out walking....just finished ds's 10th birthday party...stuck to 1 piece of cake...but did have chips and chocolate chip cookies to boot...ugh...so starting fresh today!
WELCOME!!! I'm with you baby!!! I lost 60 pounds and need to lose about 30 more to really be at GOAL!!! That will put me at 148...so anything on the other side of 160 will be FINE with me!!! I need to hear those successes to get me in a losing state of mind!!! Working on my walking being consistent and getting back to my pilates...boy, after unpacking for a month everything feels tight and sore.
But it was fun for today. Maybe will try it again next week if the weather is just right.
Making small changes by adding 20-40 minutes of walking daily will keep you a fine tuned losing machine!!! And you'll see your body sculpting itself!!!
WAY TO GO!!!
Summer is just around the corner and you're going to DO THIS!!!! I'm making today May 28th a big start on getting to my final goal of 148...I just want to get under 150 and stay there..set a weekly/biweekly goal and shoot for it...you'll be in the 150's in NO TIME!!! Have your sweet daughter be your coach...she'll be inspired by reminding you to stick to the plan until you reach it!
WAHOO!!! Goodbye 1/2 pound!!! Those relost pounds are sooo hard to get off....and seeing a new 1/2 pound gone is a HUGE PLUS!!!! WAHOO!!!!
You're doing it smartly and wisely...they won't stay on for long!
You've worked soooo hard ENJOY this break!!!
Actually, I have been back for a few days, but it is taking time to catch up with everyone. London was fun and it was great to spend time with DD17. I definitely am looking forward to doing a graduation trip with the other three. We did alot of walking, sightseeing, and took a few tours. The worst part of the whole trip was the sticker shock. I did go knowing that the currency rates were not in our favor, but everything is just more expensive and when you add in what it will actually cost in US dollars, it makes you think twice about buying anything. I will not complain about prices here again. Here is an example: 1 med pizza at Pizza Hut (I actually think it was slightly smaller than here) and two soft drinks cost about $25!
I can feed my whole family of 6 on 2 larges, breadsticks, soft drinks, and a sm salad for DH at that price here in the States if I have a coupon and still have a few leftovers! But we still had fun. I am doing my very detailed trip report including food in my WISH journal, so you are all invited to read it. It starts on page 14. Just too much to post here and there.
(211 according to the doc, but to stay consistent, I am going by my scale). It almost settled on 211.5 and I did see a flicker of 209 and 210, so I know it won't be long. Just a little behind where I wanted to be at this time, but that is ok 'cause this weight is finally coming off.
Don't be afraid to just jump in and post for encouragement or to give encouragement. The people on this board are wonderful and really make the difference in losing weight for good.

I am only 1 from that new clippie! I just can't hardly believe it. This morning, I thought the scale might just settle on 209. It sure thought about it, but that much of a loss overnight is a little much to ask for. That's ok. A few more days and I will be there.
209 is the lowest that I have weighed in about a year and a half. It sure would feel great to get below that! The jeans that I just bought before my London trip, the ones that fit like a glove, are starting to bag. Oh well, it was money well spent as I felt really good in them. About mid week, I am going to have to try on some more of my jeans and shorts in my drawers to see if I have anything for WDW! In some ways, I am hoping not.
But, I do know that I have some smaller sizes waiting for me. Or is that "weighting" for me?

Weren't you just celebrating being in the 2teens? And look at you!!! You're almost in the single digits!!! Well, I know you'll be there by next week....that is AMAZING!!!
CONGRATULATIONS on staying strong and focused on treating your body well! Keep up the GREAT WORK!!!!
Mel6197 said:Well after almost 2 years. I finally made it in the 150's Yes its 159.4.. But 150's!!!
Took me 124lbs to get here, and I have No plan on leaving!!
I want to loose another 5-7lbs to get to Goal..
WOO HOO!!!
WAHOO BABY!!! Aren't you just busting to go run a mile and be AMAZED at how WONDERFUL your "new" body feels???? Please answer DJ's questions...you have no idea how hearing others successes help us all follow in your footsteps!! It would be GREAT if you could share your success story with us...all the hows/what's ya dids/setbacks/and how you kept up that determination to get this FAR!!! Are you stopping at the 150's??? If not, maybe you and Tera could work together on starting a 140's thread!!!
Just wanted to give you a big HURRAH for a JOB WELL DONE!!!
) BIG BIG HUGS
...it's tough losing weight, but it's even tougher when you're at an age with lots of commitments (high school can be amazingly complex!)..you're doing SO WELL and we're sooo PROUD of you!

I did it! I am only 50 lbs from getting into the 150's! Thought I would never say that. And just think, only 9 lbs from reaching ONEDERLAND!
Look at my new clippie, isn't it beautiful? To top off this wonderful feeling, I decided to try on a pair of jeans that I couldn't fit into comfortably a few weeks ago and they fit like a glove! They are 18's, no stretch denim and not Women's. The greatest part is, that I know I will be in 16's soon, as this is the smallest 18's I can find!

CE-LE-BRATE GOOD TIMES COME ON!!!! There's a party going on right here....a celebration to last throughout the year...so bring your walking shoes and your water too...we're gonna celebrate and LOSE with you!!!!
I know seeing those numbers solidly on the scale is a huge win for ya!!!
