I finally made it to exercise class tonight :cool1: :cool1: We did 30 min of butt and 30 min of abs. I'm sure I will be sore tomorrow but it will be a good sore.

I'm looking forward to some warmer, dryer weather. Want to walk outside. Am meeting a friend at the gym on Wed and Thurs so will exercise at least 60 min each of those days.

Megan - great job on you mile run. I can't last much over a minute running before getting so winded I choke myself coughing. Set small goals so you will have lots of accomplishments to celebrate on your weight loss journey.

Morning All!!

This is going to be the first day of TOM so it will be a more challenging day.  Could not drag myself out of bed this am to exercise so I will need to focus more on eating for the day. :sad2:

Will be going to the periodontist today!! :scared1: :scared1: Just a cleaning but he always seems to find something wrong. :confused3

Then off to my normal Tuesday night walk with the girls. About 1 hour on an indoor walking track then off to Starbucks for an hour of laughter - great stress relief :goodvibes :goodvibes ......looking forward to my sugar free - fat free vanilla latte decaf!!

Kathy - Congrats on getting to exercise!! Keep Moving and Keep Losing!!

Everyone have a Happy Tuesday!! Find one thing to accomplish today and JUST DO IT!!

Hello Fellow LOSERS!!!!

Well todays WI went way better than I expected since TOM arrived a couple of days early :earseek: :earseek:

I lost 2.2 pounds this week for a total of 53 pounds. My weight is 155!! I can't believe that I only have 6 pounds to go and I'll finally be in the 140's   I think I will be making my WW goal the top of the range at 145 so I can become lifetime and not have to pay anymore. I still plan to lose and am shooting for about 135. 10 more pounds to go!!!!!

Morning All :sunny:

So here we go again.........back to that point in my roller coaster ride where I find out how many ways I can sabotoge myself before weigh in tomorrow. :confused3 :confused3

I am back down to my lowest weight of 166.5. Never see the scale lower than 166.........so what can I do to myself in the next 24 hours........this is a huge pyschological issue with me. Why don't I want to lose weight? Must be

I have TOM which is adding to my mood swings...........

Need some :grouphug: and suggestions on how to get through the next 24 hours without screwing up AGAIN.......

Thanks for listening.

Have a Magical Disney Day!! Off to drink water:)

I tried to enjoy some low calorie drinks when I need to 'have something'. I have been drinking some flavored teas, but my FAVORITE new find is Minute Maid LIGHT drinks. They have 15 calories per glass and come in raspberry and lemonade. I find the lemonade actually helps me not feel hungry for awhile.

You might also want to make this a 'salad' day and get lots of different veggies and have a really nice salad for dinner (the rest of the family can go out to eat OR have a grab your own night--I do this every so often, I just don't want to make dinner so I tell everyone to just find whatever they want on their own, I realize this isn't the healthy thing to do, and I don't do it all the time, but once in a while we do this). Last night my DH took the kids out to eat and I stayed home and talked to my sister on the phone while they were gone. I had a low calorie frozen dinner for supper. They went to a buffet so they were VERY happy and I didn't cheat (and this morning the scales were down a little!).

Good Luck and remember, just 24 hours until weigh in!

I had a meeting with my personal trainer today. Since my last set of measurements in late February, I have lost 3.5% body fat and 5 inches.   I lost inches everywhere but in my biceps.
My body seems to finally beginning to cooperate with me. I am down 6.5 lbs per the gym scales in the eventing and 7.5 lbs per my scales in the am before getting dressed. :cool1: :cool1:

Since I had my shoulder injected yesterday, we worked on the legs for the half hour. To end the time, I did 40 crunches to each side. My abs were still sore from group training class Monday night. I won't want to sneeze tomorrow as it hurt to sneeze today after the ab work. Should spend more time doing crunches, since that is the area I need to tone the worst.

ONWARD AND DOWNWARD

Today I went to the therapist, I loved it, it felt so releiving. I got a book called "Feeding the Hungry Heart:The Experience of Emotional Eating" by Geneen Roth, it's really good, I was almost in tears reading it, I never realized that there are people who do exactly what I do, and feel the same way.

Evening Losers!!

Well I can honestly say I DID IT!! :cool1: :cool1: Made it through the last 24 hours without sabotaging myself (it helped that I didn't eat dinner because I was dealing with DD17 in total meltdown bordering on a panic attack - she is fine - going to the doctor next week possible acid reflux)

According to WW I am down a total of 6.2 poundsin 1 month :goodvibes :goodvibes

According to their scale I am 167.6 - according to my scale at home in the morning in my birthday suit I have finally seen 165!!!!! So maybe this is actually working:):)

As always thanks for the love and support :grouphug:

Megan the book sounds interesting.........let's us know how it impacts you.

Off to watch DD17 in the spring play at school.

Have a Magical Disney Day!! :earsboy: :earsboy:

Tigercheer - welcome

I second Linda's request.

I am 53(almost) divorced with 2 DD 32 and 19. I live in central New York - near Syracuse. Welcome the the 150's club. The support is great and it's a good place to vent when you have off days.

Onward and downward.

Only 29 days to WDW    Can't wait, need some downtime

Hello there :wave2:

My name is Megan and I'm 15. And I am starting to lose now (trying to conquer emotional eating), which is fantastic, and a lot of it comes from these guys, who are there to support you ever step of the way :goodvibes

Lets go Losers! :thewave:

HI! I'm Debra (DJ) and I live in Indiana. I started with the 5 pounds per month challenge and it really helped, then I found this group also and realized that I too wanted to be in the 150's sometime this year! So I joined here too.

I have twin DDs (11) and we are going to WDW in less than 50 days! I am hoping to lose another 8 pounds before we go! Then relax for the 5 days I am there, and return to finish up what I have started!

My ultimate GOAL is to be back to where I was before my father died in 1996 by the time we go on our cruise in 2006 (so after 10 years to finally return to what I consider 'normal'--not skinny by any means, but normal. Three years after my father died my mother also died, so I lost both parents before I had turned 40, so it has been a tough 9 years, but by the 10th year--next year in March 2006 I want to be back and healthy for my husband, my children and for me!).

Anyway, that is my story and why I am here. Welcome to the group!

Wow this thread has gotten really really quiet..........HELLO HELLO

Anybody out there?:):)

Have a Magical Disney Day!!

Good Morning Losers!! :cool1:

Happy Sunday!! :sunny: Sun is shining here in Chicago but it is chilly :cold: What happened to the warmer weather?

Has not been a good week for exercise :sad2: Been pretty good with the eating but need to kick up the water intake.

Had a rough week with DD17.....she has been having stomach and stress issues for a while. Had a doctor appt for this coming Wed. but last Friday she contacted me at school and the discomfort was so bad that I took her in. She has acid reflux which can be managed with meds. The bad news is that she has lost 10lbs since Feb. She was only 104lbs to start with. The doctor made a deal with her that she has to gain 5 lbs by June 10 (next appt) or will have to do further testing. Doc is not worried about anoxeria because DD willing admits she has cut back on eating because it upset her stomach. WHEW!!

She is also having stress emotional issues which are impacting her social group and school........too much detail to type........we are aware of the situation and working on solutions with the doctor.....

It is serious but not so that I feel her life is threatened. We just need to get her back on track. Doctor calls it mild crisis mode.

Looking for good thoughts and pixie dust for her. :wizard: :grouphug:

Missing all the activity on the board..........how is everyone else?

Have a magical Disney Day!!
Linda
