Hi all -
Training for this 10K finishes up this week - with the race on President's Day (Feb 21). We've been slowly working up the mileage (8 miles on Sunday) - actually the race more like a 13K (8.2 miles). I'm not moving fast... but I'm moving.
I'll keep you all posted on how it goes. - and yes! there are 10Ks all the time here - I think the next one is a Women's 10K for Straub Hospital in March. Dismeet at the starting line?
Have a great week everyone!

Not with these knees
I need to say that I am back to losing 4.5 pounds which is the same 5 pounds I have been playing with since last October.
Going back to Indiana to visit daughter again and watch a basketball game. Could be dangerous but I have to keep my eye on the target - 150's that is.

Keep up the great work!!! Treadmill, too!!!
So long, baby!!!

Very stressed out about my girls being sick and my DH not liking his new job. When will I learn that food is NOT the answer!

Thank you all for the words of encouragement.
BUT I balanced it with a good workout at Curves after the session. l have vowed not to eat after supper tonight, and, with your help, I can do it! So, as soon as I finish watching Raymond, I'm going to bed!
. I also try to go to bed early (by 10pm). How about popping a sugar free Lifesaver Wintergreen mint? It has a strong flavor and gets rid of my urges!! Hang in there!
